So im growing in coco again with a little perilite. Its by botanicare the bagged stuff not the brick. It will be a mixture of autos with photoperiod girls. What is the best pot size? The photos will get no bigger than 4ft tall and the autos about the same.

I'm currently running 5gal/20L but have heard of people doing quite well in 3 to 4.. then again if you have some crazy genetics like dutch passion's.. people have run these in 20galon/80L pots and had crazy results.
I'm actually about to start a little selfie stick in a quart/1L for the simple act of self pollination and keeping the line alive though that one is gonna grow up in a more hydro like substrate (65% baked clay at 4mm & 35% sifted coco at > 2mm)

It would be helpful to know what strain you're growing and the light you're about to use to get an idea of the density on the size mentioned. Technically you can grow in a 1galon pot.. you just have to water quite often when it gets bigger.

Well for my fem. Photos ill be starting in red solo cups in coco. Not sure what strains. Alot of new laws happening here in az so well see how available which strains are. Then move said photos to 3gals then whwn they start to bloom in 7 or 10 gal.

These must be for outside or a very tall ceiling.
I ran photos in 3 gal redi roots pots they reached the sky and almost tipped over.
Imo 3g gives you plenty for any photo or auto.

Hooe that helps.

I am an auto grow who has grown some photos.
I start an finish in the same container, most the time.
