Hey guys. I got some lower leaves on my cotton candy (photo) that are just soggy. Ive never seen this before and fixing to google it. Plant is in a rdwc and seems healthy other than maybe a slight nitrogen def that I figured would go away when I bumped the ppms up somemore. Shes 5 weeks old round about. Noticed it this morning, was getting ready to start lst. Im thinking I should cut them off and put off my training. What you guys think it is? Its on the same rez as 3 other healthy plants. Thanks guys :)

I wouldn't cut them bro, let them tell you what is going on. Could be burn, could be deficiency, how have you been feeding etc? Looks super healthy to me man,

Karma bro,

Dazed.

Looked at calander, I was wron. Today is her 3 week birthday lol. Shes getting 800ppms of maxigro thats getting bumped getting bumped to 1k over next few days. Its just weird, hard to describe. Best way I can is that the leaf is soggy at the tip, like rotted lettuce. Been misting like 3 times a day with just plain water.

Cut down on the misting or just stop. You shouldn't really need it with hydro.
Mushy leaves are bad. (Mush being wet!)
Cut the mush off well into the healthy leaf.
You can leave the rest of the leaf on, but never allow mush to remain on the plant or in the room.
It was most likely nothing, but disease that turns leaf into mush can be very virulent.

Make sure your plant has adequate ventilation and air movement around it.

Eek kk. Have pretty good vent. Ill cut the tips off and keep an eye on it. Ill put off training for abit to make sure its not spreading. Ill stick another little fan I there too for more air movement. Thanks man!

I only mist seedlings slightly for the first few days, just to emulate the moist conditions in nature, what is your RH bro?

Im not sure what my humidity is. Im guessing 40%? Ouside is always 80% with temps 90 plus this time a year outside. I keep my house at 75 exact and growroom never gets above 80 when I close the doors. I only close them when I have to though, usually open.

Cut the soggyness off and checked roots. Root system is awesome, brite white and lots. More than my other plants at this age. In thinking it may be my misting, thise leaves may have been on the edge of planter when I was misting them and them just being stuck and wet may have caused it? I dunno, looks good other than that so just gonna let it be abit and see what happens. Thanks guys
