Indoor Royal Haze Auto grow, BSLED sp111D

Greetings traveller,

This is my latest attempt to get to grips with the Royal Haze Automatic. I've popped 9 seeds without joy over the last year, partly down to my ignorance and partly I think to some duff seeds.


This time I have popped 8 Royal Haze autos and 2 Amnesia Haze autos, from which I will select the strongest 6-8 to be grown in 10 litre airpots under my new BS-LED SP111D. The seedlings are 6 days today and all looking good so far.


I have a feeling that I might need some help on this grow so feel free to subscribe. I am getting great results on regular autos, I'm just struggling to dial into these haze varieties.

I have Royal haze auto and a white widow auto beans (1 of each) from RQS waiting to be popped. Bit worrying that you have not had much luck with royal haze in the past. Leaves me wondering that there is a reason that i can't seem to find many grows on it. Would you mind share some pics of ya grow and setup?
I'm subbed as im eager to see what these strains are capable off.

So far I've started 3 runs of 3 seeds. The first trio were doing great until wk 5 when I used some nite nite spider mite which I mixed up a wk before. It killed them completely, rookie mistake. Always use that the day you mix it. The next threesome only 2 seeds popped. 1 turned out to be a twin headed hermie and the other was a runt. The last group only 2 sprouted and they're both pretty sick, but they've not received the care and attention they need.

I've attached some pics of the hermie.

I'm going to put in the time and effort required, and with 6-8 adults I'm hoping to get a pretty good picture of what this strain can do and how it compares to my experience of regular Haze.

I will give grow specifics in the next day or two with a few pics aswell.

I've got a couple of BS 240w's which I might be able to squeeze either side. I do pack my girls tight I know..

Grow specifics:

Tent size 65 x 110 x 160 CM
Chinese BS-LED SP111D - 210w draw
2x Blackstar 240w - 135 draw each
10 litre airpots
Canna Terra pro + soil
Canna Rhizotonic, Vega, Florres, Boost, PK13/14, Flush.
18/6 light schedule.
100w RVK fan 24/7 with passive intake, clip on fan for air movement.


Day 7. Here are the girls on their first Birthday!. In future I'll turn the LEDs off before the photo shoot. They're only dinky, aww..

• Day 12.

I have my tent fully up and running now. I repotted 6 Haze and 2 Amnesia Haze auto's yesterday. It looks a little crammed but I will find a new home for a couple of them when they start crowding.

I have decided this time to record my ph run off after every watering, which I will mark on the name tags. I used to treat my water as my tap ph is 7.8. I've been told by an "expert" at the local grow store that my soil will buffer the ph. I'm dubious as I've always ph'd the water first so I'll keep an eye on that. All that acid does sometimes give me grief with regular strains so I guess it makes sense.

I want to keep an eye on EVERYTHING this time so I'm letting my anal retentive side take control .

First watering I used 1ml/litre of Rhizotonic only.

Cheers Gradolabs. The Blackstar is in there to supplement the red Chinese unit. This is my first all LED grow so fingers crossed I haven't just bought a hunk of junk!. Thanks for ze Karma
