Lighting Royal Queen: bluematic

Day 50 and yesterday I used 1.5gal of 10ml sledgehammer and this morning I gave her a gallon of 20ml big bloom, 10ml kangaroots and 1/8tsp cha-ching. I am very impressed with the results from the Mars 100X3(last pic), I used to have a bs240uv in the tent and this light is as good for less than half the price. This 19in plant is producing some nice buds that have some interesting color and sent. The trics are getting more milky so I will start the harvest cleaning in about 10 days, by than maybe 10-20% will be amber. I have trimmed the interior fan leaves to get more light/air to the lower buds. This plant has some good size branch buds and a nice top cola.

Day 52 and the 1/8tsp of cha-ching was a bit too much (leaf edge curl) so today she got a gallon of 20ml big bloom, 10ml micro brew and 1/16tsp chan-ching at 6.5ph. Since I don't see any cal/mag issues I will just use this mix once more (Saturday) and clean with sledgehammer on Monday and harvest next weekend. The trics are changing quickly (70% milky, 20% clear, 5% amber) and the buds are developing well but the resin has increased nicely.

Day 56 and she got 2gal of 10ml sledgehammer, the trics have changed very little and I believe the cha-ching has not just kept the color good for the leaves but slowed trics. The buds are getting a nice blue hue to them and the smell is great. Resin production has been very good and the orange pistols look great.

Day 60 and harvest is done, 5 bags with their bottoms covered lightly and a handfull of air buds, about 4oz I guess. This plant was 8in shorter and a week younger than the one I grew early this year but looks like almost the same yeild. Hail cha-ching! Took three hours to cut, had to clean pruners' often (heavy resin production) and the hash is wonderful. Should have a better figure on yeild and a first taste by Thursday next week.

Good job Virginia!, I have grown two bluematics from Royal Queen lately, I completely agree with you, the smoke is quite mellow and not very aromatic, medium strenght, but I enjoyed it (still am LOL!), and on the positive side of things it's a real joy to grow, not a single problem, not demanding on watering or nutes.
:d5:

Nice harvest, I have a small bluematic at day 55 ill be harvesting in a couple weeks. Very easy plant to grow and the buds smell very good.

Thank you all very much, I have two more seeds to play with so I will start another next week and save one as a replacement if I need it for my big tent grow next month. The cha-ching really did extend bloom and I could have waited another 10 days or so to chop. I wish I had started using these bud enhancers sooner, makes a lot of difference.

The results; As always my eyes are bigger than my brain. Just over 30gr per jar, should be about three oz after a week or two of curing. I will wait a week or so before planting another, a few mistakes that need correcting. I plan on using this tent to help when I harvest the moby dick from my big tent this weenend. The Mars 100X3 did an excellent job with just two t5's as supplamental lighting, temps were below 85f for entire grow. The bud enhancers do work, I just need to learn to use them better. It must sound stupid but if I don't prove things to myself I am not happy, today I am a happy camper.
