Lighting Royal Queen: bluematic

Just tried some air buds and the chem taste is there from no cleaning before harvest but I think it will be fine. I am trying to understand if my harvesting early is worth it. The poho I put in the tent is starting to respond to the 12/12 light schedule. My problem is I am not sure if this plant is a female. It may be too early to tell but this is my first photo and I just wasn't ready for this, I like it, just not sure what I am doing.

Nice looking plant ... photos are fun to grow if you have a space where you can strictly control the dark periods ...

The photo was a male (after two weeks at 12/12), the bluematic was almost 110gr dry with 20gr air buds and sweet leaf. Buds were firm and smell very good. Resin production was also good but the smoke is a little harsh. Still had strong body high with trics milky with slight amber. Planted another bluematic (my last) in a 3gal airpot. I expect to harvest this plant at Christmas.

Good job, loved the Bluematic too, mellow, minty fresh taste and a nice high. I've given up with photos for the time being autos are wonderful and allows you to taste diff strains in less time

Thanks bushdktr, the plant is a real joy to grow and smoke. I am going to try a different blueberry next time but these girls were/are a fun ride. Day 14 and this last blue is already 5in tall with a 12in spread. Today she got a first feeding of nutes; 1gallon at 6.6ph of 20ml big bloom, 5ml grow big, 5ml kangaroots and 5ml microbrew. In three or four days she gets a feeding of cal/mag+ (10ml) and this will continue every week for the next 6 or 7 weeks. The tent has all the lights on, 4 4ft t5s and a 100X3 mars led, and I hope to get a 24-30in plant, in a 3gal airpot with a 60-75gr yield by Christmas.

Day 21 for this fourth bluematic and the difference between a 3 and 5 gallon airpot is starting to show. The last pic is the 23day old plant from last grow. Today was one gallon of 5ml grow big, 10ml microbrew, 20ml big bloom at 6.5ph, and a gallon of 10ml cal/mag plus (4-0-0) early this week.

Day 30 and about half-way through this grow. The support stakes are set 24in above the rim of the airpot so it looks like I will get a 24in+ plant. The color is good and growth so far has been very good. I replaced the grow t5 bulbs with bloom bulbs for corner lighting last weekend and bud development has responded. Vertical growth should stop/slow this week and I will clean with sledgehammer and start bloom nutes by the weekend. Today she got a gallon of 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom and 10ml microbrew at 6.5ph.

Day 34 and vertical growth has slowed, 26in, so she got 1 gallon of sledgehammer (10ml) at 6.5ph followed by a gallon of 20ml big bloom, 5ml tiger bloom, 10ml kangaroots, 10ml microbrew and 1/8tsp of beastie bloomz at 6.4ph. The buds are starting to grow and resin is showing on the edges of the sweet leaf.

a nice smooth blueberry I've found quite good was Vision Blueberry Bliss. really good after a months cure.
