Hello everyone ! My first post , my first thread.

Hope you all give me a nice warm welcome to the world of autoflower.net

Today i got a ikkle package in the mail containing some ( Northern Lights Auto ) by royal queen seeds. Autoflower stains are new and exciting for me.. Never have i tried and if im going to i would like to share my experience with you all. This most definatley seems the place to be as were all into the same thing, I look forward to getting to know you and sharing tips and hints.

Okay lets begin.. So.. Northern lights automatic.. i have been reading about this version by royal queen and it does sound rather exciting.. i didn't want anything too short and from what it says on the packet 90cm-120cm seems very good to me.. also from what it says on the packet about the estimated yeild that also sounds very nice, i am not sure how accurate those statements are, so its just do it and find out, or just sit there thinking about it.

If anyone here has had some experience with this strain please let me know how you got on! I am just waiting to move into a new apartment so expect nothing moving fast here , In good time everything will be set up and ready to go.

I will be using a gro tent 90x90x160 and a 400w HPS lighting
biobizz nutrients and a handmix medium. One thing i am not 100% sure of at this moment in time is pots.. I roughly have an idea as to what size to use but what i am not sure about is... should i just have them from seedling into pots that they will live there full life in .. or .. small cup/pots to start with then pot up.. I have seen people who cut the bottom off their cups and wack it straight into a bigger pot.. never seen that done before, i did read some good things. I am not sure yet.. Either way what i decide it should be a fun project. Any advice is more than welcome. Thanks for taking your time to read this and i will 100% appreciate any feedback.

I just got some of these beans too... will be subbed.

Welcome!

you will love the northern lights autos. i do. the yield is excellent and the smoke is awesome. grrrrreat high. another fantastic factor is the low odor when growing. many times i have freaked out (close neighbors) how strong some varieties are, but the nl is very low. u have to be right on it to smell it. the low odor has no effect on the strenght of the THC. i used to grow in 2 gallon pots but when i changed to a full 3 gallon my yield doubled, at least. enjoy and GL

I also did a Northern Lights for my first grow, I loved it. I will be watching. :smokebuds:

Thanks for the interest people :) im rather looking forward to getting this all set up ! just waiting to get moved into new apartment and all is a go :) im currently thinking of ordering some more seeds so theres no waiting around once the northern is completed.

i have in my sights " Auto Bubbleicious from nirvana seedbank " and also " Auto Blue Mystic " once again nirvana seedbank. Would be great to find out if anyone has tried these strains before. so they will be on order.. chances are they will be with me before i move into the new apartment so .. i may have to just grow a couple of each strain and have myself a little mix.

ive seen some nl grows recent they seem compact for the amount of light they get and theres been some really nice plant knocking about

cool stuff :) i'm getting rather excited :) its been like .. 2 years since i've grown.. and to think that im having a little project again makes me rather happy :) last year i moved from the U.K to a location which i will not say for my own protection .. its somewhere in the arctic circle that's all i will say, i really want to germinate these baby's right away but i have to resist temptation :) EEEK !

Update

:D

Ok hello everyone, so ... latest news .. We are not going to be moving into our apartment as quick as i thought so we have decided to just be impatient and go ahead and just grow one of these beans .. I have cleared out and cleaned one section of our warddrobe the size seems perfect for one of these little monsters the dimensions are ( 46x48x160 ) i will be using a 250W bulb instead of the 400W.. I have done a closet grow like this before with some cheese and turned out fine.. the only issues are airflow which i will sort out .. so couple of weeks and this should be a fully operational project ! cant wait to see this northern grow :) very excited, stay tuned and will be updating shortly.
