Day 52

Hello everyone ,

Day 52 here, just a short update.. So lights just came on around an hour ago and she had a good feed and gobbled it up like some fat kid in a bakery, to be fair she could of had more but i wont overdoo it :) She had :

7 Litres of juice , 10ml grow , 15ml bloom , 3Tbs Magnesium flakes , 4ml topmax.

Buds: im noticing they are starting to fill up to touch each other, i have managed to get my temps down by 15F so its a steady 85F currently compared to my 100+ throughout the whole grow.

Few weeks to go , the structure of the plant is pretty much a monster , lets just hope it can be matched in monster buds. i am pretty sure this plant will go at least 10 weeks as im reading more and more threads with people growing this strain in a similar size pot many people have been harvesting between 11-12 weeks.

I have my shitty camera today so not many pics :) Need to wait for the mother in law to get back from amsterdam before i can take some pretty decent pictures, In 4 days time that will mark week 8 so there will be a big photo/news update then. Thanks for your time as always :)

Milk

Looking good Milk!. How did you go about dropping your temps so drastically?. She looks to have dealt with the heat rather well regardless :).

I'm not sure if using a bigger pot would stretch out your plants life span. I understand your frustration. From about week 9 I'm usually snipping buds off and quick drying them on my digi ballast, especially when I'm completely out of medicine.
Mentally willing them to hurry the F#$k up usually just makes things worse :p.

My advice would be not to chop based on age. I used to bring my girls down on the day they SHOULD have finished and for so long I was losing out big time on yield and quality. I even once chopped a plant with completely white pistils! What can I say, we all have to start somewhere and I acted as I thought best. I've come to realise now that on average Auto's usually finish 2 weeks behind breeders recommendations, and that's with using hps + led in combination.

I reckon my NL's might stretch to week 13 as they've slowed up again. They look at least 2 weeks behind my Royal AK's planted at the same time. Annoying but they'll be big.

Yours will be a Massimo Über Monstrosity of bud Milk :D. Oh, and I hope the mother in law brings you back some "goodies"...

WEEK 8 - Day 56

Hello everyone ! I'm back , so its been a couple of days since last feed and it was very needing it today, she had her dose of 7ltrs water , 15ml Bloom , 10ml Grow , 4ml topmax.

Everything is fine regarding plant health, obviously i have heat issues and i have throughout the whole project, she is one hardy plant... true survivor.

I have taken a selection of pictures , quite a few for the upload.. im happy i can begin to take half decent bud pictures :) kinda makes me happy, Yes this plant started flowering around 5weeks +

It will go far , i am actually starting to like the fact it will take longer, i am looking forward to the show.

Im so hungry ..

Thanks again for everyone stopping by, you are all great ! , someone asked how i got the temperatures down and well i just hung a cover over the doors while open, made me just look forward to tent gro times :)

U really have done very well MILK! Question for u.
I am curious why at this stage u still are feeding grow nutes?
shouldn't the bloom be good alone?

Hello there kingjetorl , thank you very much , you think so? , well ..
the grow nutes are on the decline as of from now dude .. my plant in natural light looked like it really needed good amounts of nitrogen, so i just gave what i could to help the situation.
Besides ive always used biobizz and i have always supplied small doses of bio grow throughtout the flowering phase. i do however plan on lowering from 10ml hehe.

And one more time because it's so cool, milk:

That's one you don't see everyday. +rep for that and for growing that monster!

Do you have some sort of circulation going on down on the bottom? Blowing cooler air up through the plant? The better the circulation, the less harsh the effects of the heat.
