New Grower Royal Queen Seeds White Widow Auto

Wow! Looking good! Mine are running a little slower thn yours, but that's likely my room temp has been on the cool side. But I'm getting side branching now with multiflowers too, I like you, am so excited! Funny, the hairs on mine, only a couple are white. We should finish close to the same time. Nice seeing your girls so healthy!

:Sharing One:

Thanks guys! Glad you like her. I've been reading on how and when to harvest aaaaaaall day. Don't wanna screw that up! She smells so dank and I'm getting so many different smells from her, one minute I smell some skunk next I smell some blue cheese or blue dream it's great. Hopefully she tastes even better than she smells

YES! that's the smell I was looking for, sorta citrusy I dunno. Maybe I'm imagining that part. But it smells beautiful! I can't wait to see your final product! Think I wanna go for the think different next like you're doing. I have a few questions, I've read to harvest when I see milky creamy triches, and I've heard when I see amber (Amber for stony effect, which is what I want) but I've also read that when they start turning amber it means they are degrading and becoming less potent, kinda stuck there I guess it's just preference thing. Also, I cut the entire plant and hang it in my grow box with lights on or off? For about 6 days, then trim. I need to get humidity around 60-65% right? I plan on curing for 2 weeks before I start testing this stuff out. (JUST IN TIME FOR 420) basically just double checking with more people if this info is right.

I'm growing WW also, not TD. Its my first grow so following yours makes it all the more interesting! I'm sure someone will jump in about the trichs. From what I've read though, being an auto iy may not have amber trichs.

Yellow leaves!

Sooooo about a week ago I noticed a yellow spot on a few of the leaves that looked like the top layer of the leaf had been taken off I'm not sure what it is. Now since I watered till runoff last night tips of the leaves are yellow and there's more of it. I'm gonna get some Epsom salt for my water. Can I pull off the big fan leaves that are coming off the stem? Their just in the way and aren't associated with bud. I know they absorb nutrients but still they are probably doing more harm than good because they are blocking lots of light

I never take off healthy leaves but some folks do. If they're still green and absorbing light, I would leave them there. Those spots make me concerned that you have a pH issue. What's the status on that?

As for your other questions, you definitely want to wait until the trichs are just about all milky if you want the stoney effect. Letting them amber will keep pushing things even more towards a couchlock body stone. Like pop said, some autos don't amber up much, so you have to read the whole plant to make the decision on harvesting. Muddy's life cycle sticky in this forum has great info on that. There's another excellent drying/curing tutorial here, but in a nutshell you want to put them in the dark with humidity in the 60s. Whether you do the whole plant or branches is up to you, but most chop it into individual branches/budsites before drying. After that it's into the jars where the magic happens!
