Soooo I guess this is starting my grow journal, got a sprout yesterday. Looks to be doing good... Not really sure how it's supposed to look as this is my first grow.
Temperature : 80 degrees
Humidity : 50
Zero nutrients so far

Let me know if there's any other details you guys wanna know and let me know what I need to do for a grow journal.

don't water to much, you want it to go and seek water, that is how the roots grow. IN the same hand you don't want it to dry completely out. Good job on getting them to sprout, WHen i first started growing, germination and sprouting where the two things that gave me the most problems.

hey Autoflowerpower420!

looks like you are of to a good start, good work.

like lykaboss said, be gentle on the watering but not to gentle. its a fine line. but im sure you will get it. also i would avoid using any nutrients for the first or two depending on the soil you are using. as the seedlings are quite delicate.

for you grow journal at the start, i would include the type/watts of lights, grow medium, pot size, light schedule, grow space size, nutrients. im always interesting on people set ups.

hope you have a great grow! and you will be smoking home grown sooner than you think!

peace,
trustfullytasty

Hey autoflowerpower
What light setup u got going on?? It's jus a waiting game the 1st few day.
Gud luck with the 1st grow.

They're so cute at that age! :pighug:
You're getting great advice, Auto, I would add what kind of soil you're growing in, and what the pH of your water is. Do you have pics of your setup?
If you haven't read it yet, check out Muddy's Life Cycle stickie, it's loaded with good, solid info. https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html
Congratulations on a good start, Brother! :d5:

Well overall I have about 160 watts going right now. Mainly 6500k I have a total of 190 watts but I'm not using them cause it gets a little hot in the box. I have the lights about 7 or 8 inches from it. I'm using ocean Forrest, in a white 5 gallon bucket. Ph is about 6.2. Btw is it a good idea to put my finger down in the soil around the plant probably like 2 inches down just to give the roots more air? Just an idea I had. Or would that cause rotting ?

The babies are looking good so far. I wouldn't go poking down around the roots with your finger or anything else. If you want to get more oxygen down there you can bubble your water, but other than that, let nature take its course. Many of the problems with first time grows are caused by 'overloving' the plants, so try to avoid that. :smoke:

WW: Day 2

Well here's day two for ya! Haven't gotten down to measuring her growth yet, I guess I should be recording that info for you guys. It seems to be doing good so far grew a lot last night, by the way im taking the advice someone on here gave me in one of my previous posts and going lights on 24/7 till flowering. I've had it on 24/7 since it was still a germinated seed so I'm guessing it would be a bad idea to take it to 18/6 now. Using mostly 6500k's as you can see in the picture because it was getting hot and they are more important at this stage
