I was waiting for the greenhouse grow early this spring, decided to a grow a gal in the south side window. Planted 2 Russian Fuel (Flash) seeds. They went into a 2 gal smart pot on April Fools day. The pot contained garden soil and 1 hand full worm castings. 2-3 weeks mulched with compost, being careful to keep it away from young tender stalk, rotted a young one

once. At that time removed one of the seedlings. April in the interior Far North is blazing with solar intensity. Fair weather, lots of sun, big time reflection of of the snow, so much so, solar panels produce over 2x our daily need that time of year. So, she gets massive sunlight 6hrs a day. Plus, 25w Super Grow led 16/8. Pre-flowered in 20 days. Gave her 1.5 tlbs of 0-8-1 bat guano at week 6. Beautiful little plant, 26" tall, 18" wide. And, lots of bud sites. Buds all over and every one was a fox tail. Well, they just kept getting longer and longer. At harvest she was like a big cotton candy looking thing that emitted a faint cloying promise of delight to come. I was baffled by the fox tail on top of fox tail effect, but I was noticing how much resin she was producing. Every fox tail became encrusted with heavy frost. So I figured strange looking bud?, no worries mon. Harvested on day 84. Knew it was going to dry really fast, had in a jar on day 3 of drying, didn't want this stuff to get too dry. Now for the interesting part-------The Smoke.......Big surprise here: after 3 days drying it was by far the mildest smoke I ever sucked into my lungs. And, rocketing sativa rush, so much so Sharon passed out after 4 hits, I've seen her do this once before with heavy hitting sativa. No indica in this one. Never smoked any before that was ready to go right after drying. Well. we had enough to keep the 2 us smoked out for 21 days, and numerous days during that time, traveling friends would stop by camp and.........party on. 0 bag appeal, you really wouldn't stuff this airy confection into a bag. Fun grow, happy ending. The pic is the princess at age 60-65 days. Didn't take any bud shots because I didn't think anyone care about a bunch of airy fairy bud. That was before I smoked it.
