So, let me introduce myself,

I have been growing for as long as i can remember. My first grow was when I was 16yrs old.

To be honest, It went horribly wrong. I had my first plant growing in my window sill, and tried to grow it in a 4oz dixie cup.

I was long under the impression all you needed was sunlight and dirt. I was not aware of photoperiods, nutrients, or even how to really grow for that matter. Newby would have been a compliment. that would have implied that i might have had a shot at doing something right. Maybe even with a little guidance, I could have grown more than two leaves.

Since then, I have served in the US Army, and am now a disabled veteran. My natural medicine is the only way that I find to cope with my symptoms, and the pain after my time served.

When I was 16, there was noone around to tell me what I was doing wrong, and it wasn't until later, that California passed its medical cannabis laws. Until then, Even the mention of the word marijuana was taboo.

I finally hooked up with a local guy that was growing his own meds, and he started to take me under his wing. For me it was a blessing, for him, it was his way to a crop without working so hard.

It worked out magically for the both of us.

I became interested in autoflowers a few years ago, because with the same effort I put into my photo sensitive crops, I got triple the yield from my autoflowers, with less work. Also, it better fit my budget.

While I am experienced, I am always learning. Things have changed ALLOT since my glory days.

I welcome any criticisms, and would love to offer what I have learned over the years. Maybe together, we can create the perfect crop.

Yes. Organic growing seems better trading in my opinion . Foods luck on your new grow! Autos are the best to stay with four new growers because it makes the first one so much easier. Also gives the grower a sense of accomplishment tha most first time photo growers fail to achieve. Also helps build up a supply, so that waiting for a photo crop doesn't seem so bad. I know for myself, that if I was able to start with autos, my confidence would have been greatly increased. I'd have likely become a know it all though. I guess the humility lesson I got in my start was the best for me.

Right now I am growing my own concoction I call Aurora Twilight Auto. It's a mix of Purple Kush Auto, White Widow Auto, Northern Lights Auto, Big Bud Auto, & Quick One Auto, all from Royal Queen Seeds. It grows in about 75 days from seed, & is around 22% THC. It has taken me about 2 years to perfect it, and I have grown and bred all of them from feminized seeds. The plant is actually my profile picture. I'm working on getting a video up of a full rundown of my op, so stay tuned!!

I haven't as of yet, I tried to stick with things i had grown photos of when i started my autos. that way i could mentally compare to what I had grown before. I will definitely branch out more as i get more types to add to my collection of plants, but i have to make sure they are stable before they go into my gene pool.
