Outdoor Sapphire's Garden 2013

:D oooOOOOoooo,....now that is exciting!! And here you were sweatin' over a few blemishes,... LOL! Nice work on steering out of the pH skid too... Honestly, Mz. S', all the girls look absolutely stellar! Man, are they filling out & up and going to town ...:booya:The leaves on LAC are crazy big! I can't wait to see what kind of juicy buds she produces :brow: Whose the one with the blue-ish tint to her leaves? Woooow.... Are you happy with the results of the fimming? **** This weather, huh? It's like Florida in the late spring around here! My little ones are are calling out the same cheer too! My worry was for the buds on the last several plants, but I think I avoided disaster there,... (a bit more on that at the other thread)... I hope your remaining hold-out girls are okay as well,...
Any sign of sexing yet? :smokeit:

Looking very nice Sapphire!

We don't have a lot of backyard growers. I must say your plants look great. Truly, the structure and look is so much different than the typical indoor ones.

Canna likes camping out. :tiphat:

Damn Sapphire things sure do grow good out in the Bay Area bro or its just your garden one they look amazing.

It seems like I have abandoned my thread here - I haven't abandoned the garden tho! Pics up next!

Hey waira!

You always crack me up!! "pH skid" stylez rasta smoke (omigosh - new smilies!) Yes, the ladies are pretty happy back there - and almost all have pistils already! :tiphat: The bluish looking photo is of the same NY Purp Diesel next to it, just from above... Funny how the angle of my ipad changed the coloring, but I like it! I'm heading over to your (and everyone's) thread later... Haven't been up to "visiting" anyone lately, but hopefully I'm over my funk... Hop digity

More pics to post coming right up!

Looking very nice Sapphire!

Thanks, A4! I have a photo of the tomatoes I promised you weeks ago coming up... Stones slap

Yes, Alan, something about that sunshine and fresh air I guess! Thanks for the compliment on the ladies - so much better than last year already! :cough:

Thanks Jay! I'm guessing it's the Bay Area, although I sure figured out how to diminish their potential last year! WTF is that

Mmmmmkay - now I have pics to post....

Here is a pic of our first attempt at hanging the mosquito net (from a week ago) - I just wanted to visualize what we'll be working with. The second one will arrive today and we have a plan for a more permanent set-up.

7.1 mosquito net 2.jpg There are 6 plants in there, but I think I'll only be able to get 4 in once I do all the branch bending to keep them short enough. Sort of a modified LST I think is what it's going to end up like... :hot:

The first of their names have been revealed to me!
6.25 Big Bad Betty screen shot.jpgMeet Big Bad Betty - the LA Cheese with the outrageous leaves - she told me her name. (snicker)

6.25 Loni w: mane screen shot.jpg This is Loni, a female "baby name" meaning lion that I looked up after she showed me her mane. I know, technically only male lions have manes, but she's a lady, and that is definitely a nice mane! KISS Oh, she's the sole surviving Amnesia Haze but looks like she's holding her own!

These next photos were taken this morning, and I'm glad I've been taking pictures regularly because so much changes quickly!

The first two pics are from the deck - I like how they have their "arrays" pointed toward the sun! Second is a group shot with the sun behind me... The two tallest ones are the AH and one of the White Dragons. I'm still having a slight deficiency or lock-out issue on a few ladies, but overall I think they are doing pretty well! Cool:

Mkay, there are other pics I'd like to post, but they post sideways - so I copy the original and rotate it - it posts over-rotated here. I took a screen shot of some of them but I'm over it for the rest. Sheesh! Stones slap Maybe I'll leave them in the attachments so you can rotate your screen if you like... LOL

Thanks for reading, and see you soon!

:yay: I thought you had forgot about me!

7.8 tomatoes.jpg

OK, here are the tomato plants - not looking great in the smart pots! I water and water because I don't want mealy tomatoes (YUCK!) but the foliage seems like it can't get enough - looks shrivelly... lol There are an abundance of tomatoes and many flowers, so the production seems fine, but wow are they UGLY!!

Holy Moly:crying:

They don't look bad, just like they need thinning out. Do you pinch the suckers off?

Heeeey! I was worrying about you at this point, Sapphire... :D ... hoping nothing 'bad' happened, and forced you to lay low....*whew* Good to see you back now! I just wanted to fire off a quick Hello here; the ladies look fantastic, luv! ... I have to get Dad to physical therapy now, so I'll pop back by later and rave some more...! :smokeit:
