You Know Its A Party When...

You see this many party cups!



Its time to open this grow closet up and see what it can do. The 10 WS seeds were all sunk, as well as the NL, so off to paper towels and prep the soil. I've been reading up on breeding, selection etc. So since the parents of these beans were pretty lame (mutated father and runt mother) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that with 10 I can select out the weird. We'll see. Im hoping for 2 decent females and one good one, and one good dude.

Also I'm experimenting a bit with the hybrids. The Pm that's further along got a light feed at the start of week 2 and all was well so here's the experiment,
My 2 smallest hybrids are identical so one got a light feed with the rest and the other twin just got water. I'll see what the results are.

It seems my fastest hybrid is a female, saw the slightest pistol. I got the transplant pot all ready to go, and it occurred to me to put it in the grow room to get up to temp before I trans. I also watered it with the same light feed water that the plant just got. Seems like maybe less shock that way.

Also have a couple heads popping up on the ws front. Pics wed probably.

I finally got around to getting some fresh stock. I've got some power skunk autos, and Thai fantasy max autos from kannabia seeds on their way! The freebies are g13 x skunk, but they're photos. Don't know what I'll do with those, no where to grow photos. It's a bummer most freebies are photos. Maybe if I get way ahead on supply I can take a break and give photos a shot.

*Edit: Damn it! Should have read the reviews. Apparently kannabia seeds don't auto. That's what I get for being impulsive. So between the freebies and the 5 I bought on purpose I've got 12 photos on the way, I got lured in by a lot of freebies. Maybe in the summer I'll do a photo run. Who knows, by then I might have the hang of crossing and breeding enough to try for my own auto strain.

WHEW! The nice folks at seedsmans let me swap out kannabia power skunks for Dinafem Cheese Automatic. I'm relieved, really not interested in photos right now. I just want some stinky stuff to grow.

Weekly Update

The closet is filling up!

First the Purple Mazar starts 6 weeks, possibly my healthiest plant ever. Not a spot of deficiency, nice and full, budding up, and getting stinky. Ive got a nice branch on one side not so much on the other. I did some tucking and have the whole pot tilted so the stubby branch gets light. First flower feed today

The hybrids are chugging along starting week 3. I have 3 females, 1 male and one undecided. All 3 in final pots now. they're a little to the yellow side of green so they got fed.

And the Withe Sirus seed/selection run is off to a good start. I culled 2 because they had these white spots on the cotyledons and were malformed. I'm thinking premature seeds, probably let them go longer next time. I'm down to 7. They'll be safe from death until I get second sets.

5 cheese are en-route so I'll be more diverse in the near future. All and all I'm happy. Plants are all on track, all ph's are optimal, the plan is working.

AND we elected the right guy last night. You're welcome the rest of the world, the US won't be spending even more billions on our military, so you're safe for another 4 years.

Better Pics

I am a stickler for good photos, and my last ones were junk. Big dif btwn phone vs camera. So here's some fresh ones.

The big PM is stinking up the place, and getting fat.

The hybrids are going. The biggest is only 3 days older than the other two. I think I'm around week 3 on those. Those sticks are an attempt to move big fan leaves out of the way of 2 branches I'd like to see get huge. I've been bummed about the shortness of the 2 lesser plants, but I think they're normal, and the big one is a super star. Opinions?
I have a male on par with the smaller ones so 3 out of 4 are small. I'm debating about pollenating the big girl, but the parents of these aren't awesome, more like a one night stand for fun in the breeding dept. The male isn't very impressive. The plan is to do a more decisive selection for a hybrid later down the road.

Speaking of, the eventual parents of all my future White Sirus grows are hopefully among the crowd of week old seedlings that are all growing strong.

Grow Chamber Action Pics

Woke up today to yellowed leaves on my week 6 PM, crazy how fast that happens. It got a feed today TB BB and Molasses, ph was 6.4. I was poking around when the lights were off so I thought I'd take some pics of the space in action, its real lonely on the flowering side.

I've been wondering if the 400w HPS would have any negative effects on the vegetative side of my closet, there's about 2 feet in between. Cant decide if I should put in a partition.
