I'm going to be building my SCROG screen tonight but I don't exactly know what size all the squares should be. I've read some say every 4" which....doesn't seem right to me. Others say 2"-3". I'm sure this isn't that big of a deal but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I know there is a thread somwhere on DIY scrog nets but I am having a hard time finding it. I personally have not done a scrog as of yet but 4" seems a little bit too far apart IMO. I will try and find something and post it here for you

Then there you go 2 inches seems to be the magic number, make sure you start that grow journal soon. Even in the begining stages of building and setting up your grow space is helpful.

Hi Indiana, I built mine at 2" (I think Jack the Spliffer suggested it.) I used a cord that was the diameter of parachute cord, something like 3/16" or a few millimeters. The frame is 3/4" PVC white drain pipe glued together with PVC glue. I wove the cord together as I threaded it through the frame. This feature creates enough friction that I can force the cord around to distort the size of any specific opening I want to and the cord stays where I put it. Subsequently the squares can be pulled open and pushed closed to allow me to accommodate the plant. Good Luck!

You're absolutely right! I'll get some batteries and start this puppy tonight!
