I like multilingual people. You'd be surprised how much more of the population you open yourself up to once you begin to speak their language. You learn all sorts of new things, especially from an anthropological perspective, just from the way people communicate with each other. Then again, I'm weird... maybe there aren't a whole lot of others who share this type of passion but I hope that I'm wrong.
