Grow Mediums Second Grow. Dark Devil Hydro.

Sorry to hear bro.. Hope the one is a strong one for you! Sending that good grow karma your way!

Alrighty so thankfully the two fruity chronic juices have popped and the DD auto is going strong. No nutes for the auto until the two week mark. Then I'll begin by vegging her which gives her a great head start above the regular seedlings. I'll seperate them in res once that begins. This should be fun I've never done anything other than autos. Any tips for growing autos with regulars would be great. I plan to do 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flower. Hopefully there's sufficient growth from the regulars to induce the light schedule I will wait till there is sufficient seedling growth for the two regulars before switching lighting since the auto can hold up to any light schedule. uploadfromtaptalk1412785560599.jpg

You would actually have to veg your photos until the autos were done. .autos do best with at least 18/6.. Some say you can still go to a lesser schedule, the yield would greatly suffer.. and photos are going to be hefty ladies with that amount of veg time. . Once you flip to 12/12 expect the girl to grow twice if not 3 times the size of when you flip it..
I just did this with a Green Crack.. vegged for 6 weeks while the autos finished. . She's standing at 4.5 feet now. With finning and supercropping, in soil. . Only 3rd week in flower.. She has another 1.5 months or so to go. . She's going to be getting bigger.. pic to give you an idea. . Lol. .

Wowzas! Beautiful bud, and thank you for the tip, thankfully I only added two photos so they should fill in nicely. And I'll make sure to not hit 12/12 while autos are still going which is nice with the week and a half head start she already has. Hopefully they become monsters like that!

Alright so we're about to hit the two week mark tomorrow on the auto and one week today for the photo. I've been experimenting a lot with the distance of my hps, the auto had such explosive top growth the stem hasn't been able to catch up so it's very very fragile. Same with the two photos one has a decent bend to her so I cut off the ends of 3 incense sticks and stuck them in the rock wool then tied gardening string around for some additional stability. Hopefully the photos make it through. Tonight I've also put together the foliage spray thrive alive green that came with technaflora rfs, sprayed the auto and switched lighting to 20/4 sprayed prior to bed time. Tomorrow I'll be seperating the auto and photos they'll each have their own resevoir and at night I'll add in some rout 66 and sugar daddy from rfs for the auto.

Future tip on autos and photos. . Start the photos about 3 weeks prior to harvesting the autos.. They will get a nice 2 week veg after popping from the soil, which usually is about a week after germ. What I should have done. . Lol. . I don't mind the trees though. . [emoji41]

So I added some nutes to the DD af , followed the transplanting phase on the technaflora rfs. Route 66 and sugar daddy. Has great growth but sadly some very small brown spots are showing on the fans, might be from the foliage spray I won't blame nutes yet, but I sprayed at lights out so idk , I'll see how new growth begins to come in. As for the photos, they're doing great for the one in the back bright white roots have established but it's partner next door hasn't had roots show yet. I'll leave them go a bit longer till I add some nutes. Otherwise I'm staying around 6ph little bit of heat issues reaching high 80's so I have the tent open for most of the day. Any advice on the brown dots would be much appreciated, the roots from the autos do got a little bit of a brown tint. Hope I didn't start nutes too early.
