Better photos of the ladies after a res change and tent cleaning. Accidently left the lever open for emptying the res so when the top feed started my whole tent flooded, lost an air pump but also gained some much needed humdity lol. Very stupid on my part but thankfully it was soaked up by the memory foam pillow I use for a sound buffer. The dots don't seem to be spreading to new growth but I do have some darker tips on the new growth and she is a little droopy. I went back to straight ph balanced water and will no longer use the foliage spray. I'll induce veg nutes for the auto hopefully by Sunday which would be week 3 if she's looking good. The one photo though looks great , with very white roots like I said but the other has one tiny root poking out the side :/ hopefully some roots start to establish it feels like each lady is at a different stage. uploadfromtaptalk1413433030881.jpguploadfromtaptalk1413433040460.jpguploadfromtaptalk1413433047761.jpguploadfromtaptalk1413433056725.jpg

Black dots are now spreading to the tips of new growth. Just added veg nutes, hopefully she was seeking plant food from this diagnosis chart I viewed but I fear there might be something I'm doing wrong. Ph fluctuations have stopped and is more stable, lighting is fine. Temp hasn't gotten over 85 or under 75 , and humidity has been okay. Any tips guys?

Hey toematoe, the pics are a little bit difficult to see but it looks like cal defiency brother. What is your ec or ppm and that ph of your res? What have you added to the res so far? And amounts? A bit of foliar cal/mag may help but that would be just a bandage. Really need to figure out what is wrong.

Also I am just using tap water my city is known for very clean water. But the photos are doing fine as well with what I've done. I maybe still thinking the foliage spray, otherwise those transplanting nutes I added, or one of the nights I've had a ph jump to 7? I don't know hopefully she pulls through as I see major differences as of new growth since I added veg nutes last night(1/3 strength). This is around 3 week mark for her and I got the top feed on 15 min 3 times a day, which is conservative for now.

From what's been going on you probably were correct with the cal mag deficiency , it's taken well to the 1/3 strength veg nutes I added with no more spreading of discoloration. As for one of the photos she has great new growth but two bottom leaves have a little yellowing. I believe these will ready for veg nutes as well. Root structure is great for both of them now. The delayed photo sprouted out some beautiful roots all around the net pot rather than just through the bottom. Sorry bout photo quality. uploadfromtaptalk1413652609618.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1413652579864.jpg

toematoe, I did the same thing with my SuperPonics 8 last grow. Fortunately my res is in a well drained area and there was no damage. Did you contain the spill? At the end of this grow I am going to remove the top feed plumbing and the pump. I am not using the top feed this grow and I've noticed no difference in the plants. Cheers!

Yes thankfully the multiple shirts and micro foam pillow I use for sound buffering soaked it right up. It seems like things are now back under control thankfully. And yea I'm considering switching to bubble buckets in the future but I'll do with what I have till its paid off haha :)

Great new growth happening and beautiful color as for the af she's responded great to the veg nutes and is at 6.0 consistent ph with a 1/3 strength veg nute solution , bumped up feeding today from 3 times a day (15 min intervals) to four and have followed the same changes for the photos except for feeding, staying at 3 times a day for them. Slight yellowing on one of the photos for bottom leaves hopefully she just wanted some veg nutes and take well to them like the af did. Those veg nutes were added today to the photos. Also temp has been great at 80 or less degrees and light schedule has been switched to 18/6, loving the fall right now :) uploadfromtaptalk1413769270944.jpguploadfromtaptalk1413769294010.jpguploadfromtaptalk1413769304147.jpg

I am also considering adding in my 200w cfl , it's a red spectrum but if things pick up with the af would it be beneficial to add that light in at a different height for the photos? Regardless I intend to add it in at flower.
