New Grower second grow, first time journal. big devil #2 and td's

yeah ive been looking at lsting recently but thought my plants were way to far on for that now though.

was just looking at your lst'd pic's and am shocked man. lst is totaly new to me and have never seen it look like that. can deffinately see how it can be affective when you have hight restrictions. are my plants not to big to lst now though pal?

You won't be able to bend the main stalk at the bottom, but it should still bend closer to the top. I didn't start on the bigger of the two in the pics until it was about the age of your plants. That was a Samurai Jack, which is a sativa based super auto. It just got too big for my grow space so, much like you, I had no choice.

The problem i've got though is i haven't got anymore space sideways either. i can still lift the light up higher anyway but it's not that that's worrying me. i lifted the light up few more inch's last night and she shot up again. 54" now. i'm more worried that the top of the plant might be stretching to much and won't be able to cope with the weight of buds later on. the branches and top cola seem to have stretched a lot higher last couple nights.

few pic's at day's 39 and 49. that was yesterday so gonna stick these up then put some up from today with a few words about where they're at.

please someone help me, my grow room has almost stopped smelling completely and i really dont get it. the big devil's are swelling more n more everyday and smelling less n less everyday. and the same for the td's as well. they still seem to be growing fine but no smell at all. i no i need to get a ph meter but am just way to skint to get it this week.

Here's some shots of them all taken at verious times duering last 5 days. I'm pretty sure that the big td's are way to big, somehow they just seemed to grow taller and taller n now look way to tall. the tallest being arond 56 inch's and i think the buds are gonna grow long and wispy. All the shorter plants are way ferther on growing buds compared to the tall ones. Will get pic's up of them ones tonight so you can see what i mean. Also am loosing shit load of leavs from almost all of the plants now, at first i thought it was they was drinking more and was cos of under watering but is getting worse quickly. I no it's gonna be ph related no doubt, and i can't get hold of a pen at this moment in time so looks like i'm bang in trouble now. i just dont no what to do, i've stopped feeding for time being. I have got a ph prong and the soil ph is about 6.7, 6.8 if the thing is even reliable and i no that is slightly high but wouldn't no how to fix it even if that is the case.

Without knowing the pH it's hard to say for sure. The older plants look like they have nice buds on them, so may just be earlier finishers. From the pictures it looks like the fan leaves are yellowing evenly, so looking more like finishing than a deficiency. I've not grown the TD, but do know from other grows here that they can get pretty big. You might want to pop over to the Dutch Passion form and ask Tony about the size.

Ok will do thanks muddy. I think your right about the older plants finishing up for sure mate but it's the td's i'm more worried about. Think the loss of leaves will be down to either ph or something i've done wrong, most likely ph and if so i'm in trouble cos no ph tester and nothing to change ph if i new what to do anyway. I don't no what to do now at all.

As I think you are seeing, a pH tester is a must have. You can pick up a Hanna Combo $130, about what you would pay for a half oz. With the return you get from it by way of bigger, healthier plants giving higher yields, it is an investment that will pay for itself over and over again. If you don't have the money you can always pick up an aquarium test kit for about $20. Not as accurate but at least you'll have an idea if your pH is too high or too low.
