Update:

I moved the lights up today to 26" from 18". I guess we'll see if they like it in a few days! :peace:

How's she doing? Still curling?

She seems to have straightened out a little. I think raising the lights will help out a little too.

So I checked the babies today and the cheese candys yellowing has only gotten worse. The growth seems to have slowed dramatically as well. Not sure what to do here...

Day 12

All the babies look great except the cheese candy. It has new growth but doesn't look happy at all!

I think I may have found part of my problem. I have gnats! Whats the best way to get rid of the little bastards??

Howdy dude,

I'm just doing a bit of research into this myself.

A friend told me that these little critters only affect indoor grows and a good way to deal with them is to sit them in the sun, outdoors and let the pots dry out most of the way. This will kill the adults and larvae.

If you try to tackle this indoors your best bet it to get some clean, freshly washed sand and make a half inch layer across the tops of your pots, as the young live in the top soil. If you have the sand there it'll trap them underneath when they try to emerge as adults.

Best advice, get them in the sun and let them dry out, if not an option, do a bit of research into the sand method. Not much else will kill the b@$t@rd$

Awesome!! Thanks so much for the help bro!! The weather is rainy today and I'm not sure if this would be for me today. As for the sand it sounds like a great idea!! I just wish I had some laying around the house. However, I do have some stuff called seven dust. I use it for my garden in the summer and the stuff works great!! Please give me your feedback asap as I want these things gone!

I'm really not into my chemicals so it wouldn't be proper for me to advise you to use it however nor am I telling you not to. If I was in your position and had to use something I would water my plants with left-over bath water which acts as a natural pesticide. Have an Epsom salts bath and even better lol. Though I'm still not sure this would kill them. Their HP's massive so they'll take a lot of abuse.

Though I would probably search through the infirmary threads to find a similar post and if you can't find one, ask the experts in there. You'll soon get an answer and someone from the US is more likely to have some knowledge of the dust your questioning using so ask about that as well.

Hope you get some answers dude, sorry I can't be more help.

Peace
