New Grower Seed prices

I really haven't complained about seed prices, but lately iv'e seen a trend of prices going up,especially the purples and some of the most popular strains.I don't mind paying ten to twelve bucks for one seed but now I see some going for almost fifteen or sixteen dollars,and to me thats getting a little crazy.I just put an order for attitude seeds,that I haven't sent yet ,and five seeds with shipping to the US was almost eighty bucks.If I was younger I would start my own seed company and watch the money roll in.:jaw:

I agree that the prices are ridiculous!!!
These "private" breeders are charging crazy amounts for single seeds!

If you think how many seeds you can get from a plant and multiply that by 10 to 12 bucks a seed you get some crazy numbers!!!
And then some of the strains are just crosses of popular ones and the genetics are not 100% stable.

Mind bottling!!!

We have RCMC that have awesome seeds for great prices!!
We have Dragons arriving sometime this year!!!

Sometimes all the hype is just not worth it!

And the greatest community out there!!

Attitude is the most expensive I've encountered on the net...hempdepot is WAY cheaper, and if you go on seedboutique you can get some niche breeder stock for "reasonable" prices. If you want the high-end "legendary" strains, I'd suggest you look at Beanhoarder on hempdepot or try to catch a sale going on over there. Otherwise, RCMCollective.ca for some of the North American boutique breeds (Highrise/Mossy eventually). Not sure where to score Stitch or LBH's gear for cheap, those are the only two breeders I still struggle with (Stitch is on the 'Tude but costs an arm and a leg because of their goofy pricing structure).

mossys seeds should be up and running soon

i might start a seed bank as well lol but id refuse to sell copys of hard others work so maybe in a couple of years
ive just made a big order at seeddepot have not received yet but its early days
dopeseeds and seedsman are my 2 fav bank customer service at tude is poor at best edit and hempstar are even worse

I went and took a peek at hempdepot since I had not checked them out real quick and compared their prices to Herbies. I only looked at Autoseeds since its the only on that jumped out to be as autoflowers and Herbies was maybe 20% cheaper

Herbies seeds $24-$43 USD
Hempdepot $44-$69 USD

Its not the breeders setting the price its the seed banks

I can get 11 fem beans of any of joint doctors stuff direct for 65 and all the other seed banks want that for just 5 seeds and they buy in bulk so they get them even cheaper..lol

Well the breeders sell them to the seed banks and they in turn mark them up 100% or more...

Everyone makes a profit off the seeds.
It is the seed banks that are greedy and don't have to mark them up so much...
