Indoor Seedling stalk an odd color

I put this bean in the soil 9 days ago. It's been growing like a champ. In fact, it's starting to lean a little to one side. Also I noticed the stalk seems to be kind of pale and yellow. Is this normal?

I'm using Happy Frog soil, spring water, and 150-watt HPS light 24/0.
