Hello all! Time for an update!

As i told before i germ this time in root riot , 2 seeds ,
1st RO water with 0,01 EC , 6,5 PH(!!!!) - AutoDaiquiri Lime
2nd Tap water , 0,4 EC, 7,9 PH and i have left it open 9 days - AutoUltimate

The 2nd one failed because of underwater issue , its my first time with root riot and i failed to understand when to water it ..

BUT the 1st one so far goes good ! At least no yellowing this time :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay: ! I think it has variegation but again nooooo yellowing!!

Here are some photos:

It is growing maybe a little slow, possible because the zero nut of the RO water but i hope as soon as the roots will reach the soil she will take some streght! Cross fingers

Root riots are essentially a sponge and hold alot of water. I use the rooting cubes and water around the cube, being careful to not hit the cube. The tap root grows pretty fast and if you are getting yellowing, its from the medium and not the cube. What is the ph of your medium? Water your pot to get a bit of runoff and test the runoff's ph. Not alot of runoff, just enough for a test.

:d5:- Lookin' good O'! It's normal for newest growth to have paler colors, it's darkens up as you see,... As for your water, I recommend blending the RO and dechlorinated tap, just to give you some buffering capacity is it,... the EC to ppm conversion is regionally different, I think in Eurpoe it's 1.0EC= 6400ppm, USA it 500ppm,... might depend on where the meter was made-? In any case, try to get about 150ppm equivalent,... this will help with keeping the soil pH in range... feeds are acidic, so that's another reason why many folks pH adjust the nute's before feeding,... your little one doesn't need it for several days yet, and you know to start dilute first,...:greenthumb: :karmacloud: :goodluck:.... here's some rep' for grinding through it all! :slap:

Im trying to help out with recent infirmary struggles but this one is quite the mystery to me as to the problem.....

Id say keep the AN Sensi Ph Perf since it worked for me but wait at least 2 weeks before the first feed but IDK that Medium too well myself.

Either way i got to :slap: you for the 24 seeds you tried and the success of #26 (25 just died right?) Keep going on

--- :toke: cc' --look up coco's CEC online,... coco is unique in a lot of ways, particularly with Ca, Mg uptake, and it's native K and Na content...when using brick stuff, you really have to pretreat it carefully, usually with a Ca-Mg solution to help displace the Na and K,... straight water alone only help so much; the ionic bonding needs the power of those double positive charges on Ca and Mg to force the Na and K (single + charged) outta there,.... if too much Na or K gets left behind, it can cause toxicity issue (largely Na in this case), and the lack of saturation with Ca of the coir particles makes the coco suck it before the plant can! ... how are they seedliong doing, BTW? Did you try germ'ing new ones in an alternative medium?
