Seeds in harvist AGAIN

Well....now you have some seeds for your next grow or you could sell them and use the $$ to buy something different..

Listen guys I appreciate the chin up attitudes but beans are a tenner a pop. I think I can spring that to get the end product I want which $$$$$ costs a lot more here in UK.

Was under the impression hermied beans are likely to yield more hermies. As I said a tenner a pop is worth the investment! Not wasting 3 months on a duffer.

I've been in here over a year and read up and researched before asking a question on here it's my first post.

So chin up/ bright side/ isn't what I'm after. No offence. Was looking at genuine reasons as it 6montgs of my time wasted. In 2 duff batches.

I veg under Mars 300 and add the additional cob 200w light later.

The Mars 300led (old style) doesn't have a veg function. Does anyone think that the red spectrum during the veg stage could be to blame????

As I've read up on here somewhere... I'm sure it was quoted from Dutch passion about

"red spectrum producing more males"

I was struggling to get to grips whith the whole artical. So it's hard to know if I've picked it up correctly?

...I think that red spec' thing has more to do with reg. seeds, not fem'ed ones,.. no sure if it may contribute to potential herm'ing later on, but it will make the plant stretch abnormally... that said, fem'ing is a process that can make for higher % chance of hermies showing, on top of strain propensities, stresses, etc.,... this late in the game it's very hard to say why,...Oh! Did you clean the hell out of the tent, air ducting, filters after the first round that hermied?-(nevermind, saw the answer!)-- lingering pollen can cause those scattered seeds,... did you see actual 'nanners or true male flowers on the AvsT? How about the COC?

Hi thanks for the reply bud.
No I had no clue until i found seeds in my end harvist both times!!!!!

Both grows produced good looking buds.

Both times I became suspicious of the calyx I mentioned previously thinking they looked "swollen"?? But there was only ever 2 on tge stems, never straight up clump of balls.

Anything I could compare to online looked like normal growth.

So now I'm totally out of ideas apart from pollen left over from the COC.

When you mentioned nanners... is that the yellow bananas sticking out buds??

Not one sign of that either, its a small personal setup.
So each girl gets a bit of TLC and attention.

Not sure how relevant the amount of seeds is but I've found 25 plus from the 4 ladies.

Every one pregers

scattered randomly, or located close together? If scattered all over, it's more likely remnant pollen from before,... tighter clusters of seeds hints at a closer proximity source,...

Excellent point mate. None of the top harvested had any. I done it progressively and paper bagged then jarred with a little label of its own. I'm still experimenting.

The seeds were defo more frequent in the lower buds or is that normal???

Definitely strange, to make sure you want someone to see your reply use the @ sign followed by username, no space, that gives us the alert to check your post. If you're referring to those calyxes on the stem below the buds, these are normal, I get them on every one but never a seed in them, can you put up a pic of the seeds you found in the second one? Are they solid, or do they crumble up easy?

Cool thanks for the info mate. I didn't want to hassle anyone figured/hoped they'd peek back in.

Yeah that's what I was asking about. I've taken another closer up screen shot of that piece of bud Top circle is the bits in the bud where I've been finding them. Bottom is the calyx which looks identical to the sites I find seeds. Another 5 from 6 gram of bottom bud found.

Ps. Yes they are mature seeds I got a tap root from all 5 test subjects :( didn't try crushing them but they'll be solid.

Only a few albinos seeds.
