seeds wont sprout :( help please

so I have 1 think different and 1 mazar which I have germinated using the wet paper towel method.. right now it's cold outside so I put them in the grow space with the lights on so it stays nice and warm at like 85 degrees.

They have been there for 48 hrs so far and one seed has cracked and looks like the plant is trying to come out backwards, the other has slightly cracked but no plant is coming out of it yet.

The problem I think is that the seeds I got were not fully developed cuz they are teeny tiny. I have a couple extra seeds but those are tiny as well.... you think this is a bad batch or something?? Pls help me out!!

im doing 6 TD atm, the seeds were pretty small, and did take a lil while to get goin, you gotta keep em in the same pots in the same room all their life though.

what do you mean backwards? (lol)

seeds come in all sizes,i've got some huge plants out of tiny seeds.Are these seeds still in the paper towel or did u put them in dirt yet?Taproot comes out first when they crack.I'd stick them under some dirt and keep them moist-maybe throw a small plastic dixie cup over them for a mini humidity dome until they pop outta dirt.

Backwards = root facing up in soil during germination. The seedling has to do a 180 in first days of life. Could cause extra stress to an autoflower! Hopefully it will not suffer and do well.

Haha well usually a small white root will pop out but this time a small green root which I think is the leaves are trying to escape the seed.. which is why i think its backwards lol

They are still in the paper towel.. I'm trying to wait for the taproot to pop out and grow a little longer before planting it into the soil.

How long yall think it should take with sum small TD seeds to sprout another 48 hrs or more??

Could take that long,keep an eye on them and make sure they don't dry out.

hey man i had a very very small yellowish seed for my pineapple express but check her out lol size dont matter to think my came from a puney seed too.. Just give them time ive had seeds that dont taproot for like 4-6 days. Also one of the seeds ive just planted the tap root came out squigly but shes growinf fine a little slow on breaking soil but doing good now :group:

thanks for the words of encouragement si and everyone else.. hopefully that's the case for my seeds ill let them soak in the warm towels for another 2-4 days to see if I have any activity. I'm so pumped for this grow! Patience is key... lol
