Foxfarm ocean forest mix with happy frog and straight ocean forest at bottom half of pot, 3 gallon fabric pots folded down to handles with bout 2 and 1/2 gallons soil filled, ph between 6.5-7.0, using probe in soil meter, feeding distilled water and spring water with little cal mag every other watering, 2.5ml/gallon when used, ph water going in 6.8, I do have ph meter but using these pots make very difficult to catch run off to check ph, I just water till I feel the bottom of the fabric pot get wet, sitting under 1000w mh running at 75%, temps at 77-80 degrees, humidity 45%, both strains showing symptoms, has improved I think since feeding cal mag but still seems to be popping up on other plants, see pics below, please if anyone can give def answer what to do that'd be so great

Have you ever had the spring water analyzed? It doesn't really look like normal nute burn that I have experienced. When you say every other watering, how often are you watering? I have found out with soil, you really need to watch how much and how often you water. It can cause deficiencies (You don't want to wash away all the good nutrients and you also do not want to cause root rot as well as small roots). I'll subscribe and check back. Good luck and much Karma.

I am watering every 3-4 days when soil first 2-1/2 inches is dry n pot is light, I have feed spring water when I can't find distilled, I have added none or very little cal mag when using Spring water, I was thinking it is possibly some burn from growing into the straight ocean forest but even the young ones some have a spot of yellow or twiste leaves so then thought maybe some nute burn an cal mag deficiency but very unsure and just taking it slow, the largest of my plants are in their fourth week from germ, seems the worst spotting and twisting curly leaves hit the plants between 2-3 weeks, once they get past that the growth is getting better on most still one or 2 the new growth becomes affected. If anyone can examine the pics and tell me maybe should feed more cal mag or less? I haven't started nutes on any, I have foxfarms trio and advanced nutes jungle juice grow, micro, bloom.. I am scared to begin feeding not sure if I'm dealing with over toxicity or deficiency.. Anyone know?

Next grow at it, try some less hot (high in nutrients) soil. I like to use ProMix Bx, very light soil.:five: The first few weeks you wont need much nutes. Then I would transplant into the Ocean Forest, if you would like. Your plant probably started coming around after the third week, cause it was mature enough to take the nutes from the soil.:2cents:
Lots of luck:peace:
If you can, start them in 32 oz cups or the 18 oz red solo cups filled with the light soil, then when its ready, just cut the bottom of the cup and place it into your final pot of FFOF. That's the best way to transplant autos:thumbs:

Thanks for the info, so your vote is nute burn? I had never used foxfarms but heard great things, last grow in coco didn't go just great so wanted to try soil, and actually had to drive 2 hours to get foxfarms and spent $400 just on pots, soil and nutes so really want this to work out, I'm gonna cont feeding little cal mag only next couple weeks, the oldest ones are pre flowering and ready to bud, will wait 2 more weeks then start the big bloom lightly then move along to tiger bloom, will save jungle juice for next go around.. Guess these northern lights autos r light feeders, I have some Mi5 just started too hopefully they can handle the ocean forest

Only thing fed is some cal mag and I'm afraid I may need to start adding more actually, the canoeing leads me to think cal mag, hoping soon someone will come along and know exactly what I need to do lol please

What kind of soil probe are you using? 6.8 is a little high and probably locking out cal/mag no matter how much you put in there. Doesn't look like you have bud sites yet, make a cal/mag solution and Ph to 6.5 and put it in a spray bottle. Spray all of the leaves down top and bottom at lights out for a few days. Foliar feed straight to the plant no matter what's going on in the roots. :D

Also, when you water the pot lower that Ph to 6.5 too. :D Plain water.

I've never had any problems with fox farms soils. I can never see why people say its to hot to start a seedling in.

First thing you need to do is flush your soil! Next thing you need to do is stop feeding just cal-mag. You need to start feeding with a balanced feeding regimen. Start by feeding some grow. Your problem is a calcium/magnesium over dose. Your plants are wanting some nitrogen. Don't feed at a heavy strength. Start off slow 1tsp or 1.5 and watch how they react. They should slowly start to perk up but the damage is done to those leaves. And as squid said, foilar spray them for a quick fix. 1tsp of grow in a gal. Spray on under side of leaves.

Honestly I would just start over if they are 4 weeks old. Remember it's just a weed you can always start over again an learn from the mistakes made.
