Grew under HPS &MH for a long time..
Love the cobs...next tent will be QB. Maybe some IR generators tossed in.

I am planning on using a light rail in a 2x4 tent so a 4x4 would work .... with a rail you avoid shadows and hot spots ....

These guy seems to be the best rail for the money ......

When you say IR Generators are you talking about Infra-Red Lighting ? Sorry, just never heard the term IR Generator before.

25w LED in far red spectrum. I'll probably add 4. Helps induce flowering, plant sleep, and resin production. From what I've read. Growmau5 has a neat little board available for about what I could build it for... worth trying for a run and evaluating.

But I damned sure need to buy a Fire Extinguisher just in case anything does ever happen.

Seriously consider getting a CO2 vs. powder-based fire extinguisher. As I recall, CO2 is better for electrical fires and more universally useful. CO2 is non-toxic and does not make a big mess (the CO2 simply sublimes/evaporates) like the powder-blowing ones. CO2 getting on your plants is not a problem at all, while trying to get powder off of all the plant surfaces, bllown onto/within buds, etc. could be a big problem.

Installing a new 3.5 light rail in a new 2x4 tent which actually measures 28.75 inches by 53 inches ..... also getting the stabilizer bar so I can turn my light 90 degrees ..... also looking to upgrade wheels so runs smoother and less noise ..... about $250 all in .... nice thing is there are two bars in the kit so if you only use one bar you can order just the motor assembly for $140 and get second rail going at 3.3 foot a rail which more than covers a 4x4 tent .....

My light is 22.5 inches long by 16.5 inches wide ..... in current 2x4 tent it sits with the 22.5 long parallel to the length and 16.5 inch front to back as logic would have it ......

but when I get my new slightly bigger tent and new rail I’ll mount light perpendicular to the length allowing more coverage front to back and the rail will run the length giving plants a much more even light, no hot spots and eliminate shadows plus keep tent more even temp .... the benefits are huge and negatives are minor and easily overcome ....

Best of grow!

No shadows here:smoking:

I vote for more lights, as apposed to 1 big one. The versatility alone is a no brainer, for me. In fact, do yourself a favor and cruise around this site and see what Autocobs are doing. See Arthur's post, top of page.
I dont promote site vendors because they are site vendors. Autocob might not be the best but I haven't seen better results, consistently, EVER! Factor in the savings on your elec bil. @Arthur has 9 Autocobs, 65w each, in that pic. 585w, which is almost too many, imo. I've used 5 in a 4x4 space with awesome results.

I think your lady getting wide on you is typical for re-veg. I would make the flip, sooner than later. It's nice to break records with growing 8oz, 10oz...but I'd rather grow 2 smaller plants in the same space, get just as much yield, in a fraction of the time
