I'm using a clear tote for a resavore I was wandering it light is letting algae grow ? I'm thinking I need something that let's no light in . Thanks for any help

You are correct. The clear tote will form algae buildup and could eventually cause you problems. A simple tote change to something with a dark color will do, they have black totes at Wally world for 10 bucks or so with locking lids. Simple fix.

Sometimes I'll paint the plastic with spray paint, just depends man. Either way good luck

Thanks I thought that was the problem I wasn't sure. I have always hand watered and grown in soil . My setup is not hydro but a drip system in soil .Thanks for the help.

Lowe's Home Improvements 5 gal. buckets are dark blue and should be fine if they are big enough for you. Be sure that you do not use any copper, brass or aluminium in contact with the nutrients in your drip system. It is best to use plastic or stainless steel only.
