Funny how life gets the in the way sometimes.

That said, this is the decision we've come up with and I know this will be a split victory for a few but this is how we'd like to proceed going forward!

We've decided to KEEP the reputation system.

We will fix the way reputation can be given, the rate at which you accrue rep points, and the amount of members you must rep before you can rep the same person again.

EVERY YEAR, starting this year (within the next month most likely,) we will RESET ALL REPUTATION to ZERO. We're hoping this will keep reputation current, will help negate any chance of extended abuse beyond our rule fixing, and will mean that all rep will be relative and current for that year.

We hope this will encourage everyone to be "at their best" if reputation is something that matters to them.

We've reviewed the responses and between the options it seems like a close split on what people would like to see. We know this will make some of you happy and others may not, but we've found this to be the best compromise and way to hopefully fix the rep issues going forward.

We appreciate your guys consideration and time into this and I'm happy we've had such a nice amount of feedback on the worth and value of the system. We'll put the changes into effect very soon so we can start repping and have it stick.

What's the point of giving rep when you know it will be viped out(reset) within months or weeks, even days if it's given in the "reset" months, that it's just a temporary boon..... Seriously, why bother keeping/introducing such a system..... Was this a Sativa, Ruderalis, Indica or hybrid induced accord

We're keeping it because from the response it seems many members found it fun and to some, valuable. We also had some staff that liked it and we've considered their weigh-in on it too.

We're fixing it because it was unfortunately abused by certain members because of the way the rules were put into place for it.
This provides a solution that hopefully appeases a few sides of the issue.

Reputation was never mandatory; if you don't want to use it or think it's meaningless well you are in luck but there's no obligation! However, there were some apparent problems with it that we're addressing. So those that want their cake can have have it (albeit a slightly different recipe and flavor,) and those that are on a diet or think cake is for chubb-chubbs can just go along their day!

No, they aren't not yet available. When we get closer to a reset date (hopefully by the end of the month) we'll update with the new rulings.

Well then theres only one thing to do,,,i will hit 100 people per day with max rep and itll be back to 0 by months end..sounds like fun to me....bwahahahaa ...kidding.....
