I saw somebody's amazing copper frame on here a couple of days ago! Very impressive
Not sure who's it was though as I've been in the clutches of a stomach bug for a couple of days and it's ruined my brain lol.

What's the measurement on the opening? Heck yeah I'd tear that pig right open. Mount a meany-well to it and slap in some 1812's. The heatsinks look nice. What's the wattage? A more efficient light without lenses should do well as far as cooling goesHey @BigSm0 is there any usable worthwhile View attachment 688687 View attachment 688689 View attachment 688690 parts on these lamps ??
I don't mind the 1212's it's just their cheapest least efficiency cob. The 1212 has 144 leds while the 1812 have 216 leds. To get 50 watts out of a 1212 you need more power. More power equals lower efficiency.I have sst120's so hopefully a little more effective than 105s
Disappointed to hear you don't like citi 1212 as that's what I've got. Bummer lol. I was under the impression that they were fairly decent cobs and best if driven hard for better efficiency?
Have I misunderstood? Darn it.
