Hi guys, Just looking for a bit of advice on my jack 47 seedling.

When i got this seed it was already damaged but thinking it was only the outer shell i went ahead and germinated anyway. Having germinated and broken soil i had high hopes for this continuing in the same fashion, however its started showing signs that things may not be as promising as id first thought.

From day one the leaves hadn't looked as perfect as my other plant but now there getting worse and worse color wise and this morning had quite a sag to them that hasn't really picked up.
Also now the second set of leaves have popped there not looking to great, a little deformed maybe.

Here's a couple of pictures to show what i'm talking about.

Has anyone had plants like this from damaged seeds before? I thinking about pulling it as i have a replacement seed on the way anyways, and i don't have extra space to just keep it.

Any opinions will be much appreciated

Soil is plagron light mix, not nutes as of yet.
Watering with 6.5 ph water, also if i mix water ph'ed to 6.7 with my soil in a cup that test's 6.5
Cream mandarin is in the exact same conditions and is looking like this.

I dont really have a watering schedule worked out as yet, rite now im just watering when top soil starts to look like its drying out.
Should i be letting them dry more? would you expect this to be down to bad soil/nutes more than a bad seen?

Just let it grow and see what happens, if you have room then plant another seed.

Well don't quote me but maybe somebody could help out! Maybe too much water? I have seen older plants look pretty shitty from over water and even get root rot! Never seen a seedling like that. Anyone?

Try letting your soil dry a little more than that! I let mine almost get really dry but they like it when I starve them for a day and then they use the water and nutes a lot better! See dramatic growth after letting it get dry. Pick up your pots when it's dry and then after watering and get a feel for the weight as well! I depends on your humidity as well! If its low then you need to water a little more often! High humidity will keep your soil wet longer! Do you have fans blowing on your plants? I like to have a fan blowing on my babies and it helps to dry out soil if humidity too high! Trial and error bro! I fucked up so many plants before I got my shit right! Though never had any problems outta seedlings except tool tall and falling down cause my dum ass let them stretch to much! Good luck bro maybe some one will chim in and help as well!

Stick ur finger in the soil too! Finger her ass! She will love it!

At this point I doubt that it's a bad seed issue. Looks like a tiny bit of lock out from over-watering, hence the droop, as well. :D

I water before planting and go by weight of the pot dryer vs watered. It'll take some getting used too, but is better than the 'finger method' IMO.
I suggest letting her roll for a couple days without watering. :D

Hey Ganja, that would be the best option but i only have one shot at my grow and very limited space so i feel if it doesnt pick up before my seeds get here it would probably be best to replace it sooner rather than later

Thanks man ill try giving it less water and letting it dry out more, my RH is around 50-55% and i have a fan blowing onto them.
I guess its just a case of seeing how it goes until i get my seeds and make the call then, hopefully i wont go though so much error as you did given its a one shit deal!

PS. even if i pull it this plant wont be left to die, Ill be giving it to a friend who will put it in there grow. If they cant take it window seal it is! lol
