Sick plants? New grower

Ok so i have 2 devil cream plants, all been going well so far (only on day 7 :smoking

Checked them before i went to work yesterday then after i got home (10 hours)

Came back to some browny/orange spots, More of a whiteish tiny spot on the second plant. Googled it and looking at other pictures it doesnt seem to match exactly and dont want to incorrectly treat whatever it is and make it worse.

Oh also forgot to add the bigger one was in a plastic pint cup but transferred last night. Im using biotabs starter kit (but no tabs/soak yet), each under viparspectra 300w and theyve been misted occasionally and also lowered the light down yesterday but highered it back up after this. My water has not been ph'd and checking online its between 7 and 8ish

Humidity: highs of 56% lows of 35% but i have had them under cups (i even sprayed then covered yesterday which i think might be to blame.

Temps: high of 28.2 degrees C and lows of 22 degrees c

Anyone any ideas? It looks small on the picture but was heartbreaking when i saw it. Its only on the 2 lowest fan leaves and the cotyledons. ph messed up? Deficiency of some sort? Mould?

the good news is that it doesn't look very bad at all. In fact they look pretty healthy. Did you spill some nutes on her maybe? have you checked the pH of your feed and water?

No my water isnt ph'd and no nutes yet just biotabs starter kit stuff mixed in to the soil(biobizz light mix). Tried to upload a better non blurple photo.

That's interesting, I would guess nute water dribble as well...7-8 ph? You need to be pH-ing anything you put in the pot. There's a form at the top of the infirmary, get that filled out and posted... we need as much info on your setup etc to be of any real help.

But get a good ph pen, really isn't something you can do without.

Ok thanks for the replies guys. Ill fill that form in a bit later, at work at the minute.

But yeah if that can be caused by PH then thats probably what it is as the only 2 things that changed were me misting them with water and lowering the lights (highered back up).

Good call though and Ill get a ph pen tomorrow, lucky as they are due for the pot soak soon which could have been a disaster. Little bit disappointed though as when looking at what media/nutes to use i went with biotabs aa it stated no need to PH just use tap water and the medium will be the buffer.

Are they saying the biotabs regulate the ph?If there not fully dissolved than they can't cover the entire pot,so this might be a problem.

Not sure to be honest ill check the box when i get home. Its probably me having read it wrong to be fair and ph'ing my water can only be a positive anyway

Ive experienced that, reduce misting while the LED is on. Any drops of water will cause burning under intense light. I sometimes will go around and dab any drops that have gotten on any leaves with a tissue when im done changing out the water, be very gentle. They should be alrite.Keep an eye on the white spot, make sure it doesnt spread.

- your water might be too hard for long term use,.. pH hints at high mineral content,.. you'll need a TDS/EC meter to see, or call the water co.,... If your water is very hard, the Biotabs may not be able to buffer the high alkalinity for long, raising the pH over time,... in this case, you may need to pH adjust it, or better, cut it with low TDS/EC water,....
... nothing on the seedlings look alarming to me, such spots show up on occasion,... Biobizz soil is fine, unlikely to be off pH, and this isn't a pH issue in any case,....
...the "burn" effect from intense point-source light lensing is very rare, and conditional,.. truth is, it's common practice across the horticultural industry to water/feed by foliar and pot soaking,... ask yourself, how many plants in full Sun do you see with such burns on after watering or rain,... Now, overly strong nute solutions can burn, but that's not the case here either,...
Biotabs had buffering components in it, but the soil microbes play a fair part in this, as well as the soil itself if amended with lime...

Thanks again for the responses, all helps me learn. Well it still remains a mystery what exactly caused it but there has been no worsening of the symptoms so far and ill continue to keep an eye on it.
