What sort of DWC? Single bucket per plant? or a shared reservoir RDWC?
I have done 2 grows in RDWC.
1st grow was 2 x Heavyweight Fruit Punch Auto (also had a photo in there due to mis-labelling by the vendor, but removed it after about 6 weeks) - Total Yield from the 2 of them was 275g of bud and 85g of trim/popcorn.
2nd grow was 1x Seedstockers Northern Lights, 1x Sweet Seeds Dark Devil, 1x Mephisto 4 Assed Monkey and 1x Dinamed CBD Auto - Total yield about 460g (280g from the NL alone). Didn't keep any trim/popcorn this time.
For my third(current) grow, I have decided NOT to mix it up and am running a single plant- a shared reservoir is a pain in the ass unless you are running cloned Photoperiod plants.

Would want to waste the space I was looking at doing 2x 10 pot RDWC and only a single strain in each system... how do you go about keeping the water at the right temperature if only doing one pot with no main res? This seems much more complicated, what system are you using? Does this not also make switching nutes much harder?

Here is the system I used for my first 2 runs:
My first run had 2 Fruit Punch and they responded very differently to the nutrients.
One took 20 days longer than the other and one had Nitrogen Toxicity and CalMag issues while the other didn't.
This is why I wouldn't recommend running Autos in an RDWC with a shared res - not saying it can't be done, but it can be extremely difficult to balance.
When you are running Autos from seed, at best, you will only be running 'fraternal twins' - not 'identical twins', so their needs can (and usually will) be different.
It is a balancing act trying to get the feed so that it is decent for everyone.
Running Photoperiods from clones though, you KNOW that every single plant is identical, so the feed can be perfect for them all.
This grow, I am only running a single plant, so I won't have those issues.
In saying that, plenty of people run RDWC with autos without major issues (including things like
