has anyone ever tried to make a grow tent smaller?

I needed a 1x1 but found a 1.2 at a steal of a price but wow it's massive, I'm going from a 0.8x0.8 and only want to do 4 plants.

Anyone think it would be OK to cut the poles down and somehow fold the cover around the sides and try to pin them somehow, I don't have money for another tent.

I'm surprised at how big it is compared to my 80x80

nope, make do with the tent the way it is! I know its bigger than what you wanted, but sell it, trade it, but dont cut it up!

Personally I'd use as is if you have the room, you may find the extra space is nice

I will 3rd That. Is there a reason you want it smaller? Nobody wants their grow area smaller! :-(

I need it smaller as at the moment it's in my spare room but when I move it will have to go in my bedroom, I didn't want to go bigger than a 1x1 anyway really as I only want to do 4 plants.

Where is the lace for us to trade our gear, iv got a few other bits I could do with clearing out.
