Just looking for a simple compost tea recipe for foliar feeds and regular feed. Never made it before so I'm just looking for a cheap easy recipe that's helpful

oldschool is toss a handful of compost in the busket with a fistfull of castings out of the bin or holding bucket. then add a medium dollop of molasses and then a long pour of regular fish emulsion 5-5-5 or similar. then some liquid kelp and a surfactant to do as a spray cut by half atleast. bubbled from afternoon until morning light for folir or top of the early noon till the early soil feed. Table spoon of castile soap or yucca extract for surfactant. castile is prolly cheaper. then the kelp liquid or soluble kelp (liquid @ 1/2 to 3/4 ounce per gallon)--(soluble @ 1 teaspoon,or rounded teaspoon, per gallon)

most people back in the day would either use a three or five gallon bucket. 5 gallon was not filled all the way. little over half. there's an oldschool recipe for ya. dont forget the air stones and cut it or dilute it 2 parts water to 1 parts compost. 2:1 dilution for foliar in the shade. you might be able to use it full on at 1:1 dilution but I would stay it safe until you know whats what. less is always more until you know whats going on man.hope that helps.

5 gallon of water 2 cups castings

1 tsp humic acid

1-2 teaspoons kelp powder.2 teaspoons if its soluble kelp not a potent powder.

1 ounce of companion,or wettable powder like [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] Inoculate ,or great white. stay less with great white it has a lot of vitamin B in it too just an fyi. thats why sprouts like it so much lmfao!

What do you do with the casting after do most people throw them in the soil or just throw them out

yeah man, most use them as a top coating, toss the leftover in their outdoor soil or bedding area for veggies, plants, annuls and so on. soil bin too as Goblin pointed out. or top any pot really. I would turn it in to the top cpl inches of soil while its still moist or wet.
