Site Work in Progress - 2018

@Son of Hobbes Ok so that is the problem I have the scaling set to 150% on my display resolution in Windows 10 so an old guy like me can see shit. If i reset it to 100% chrome is ok. I cannot read it well but it is all there. So we pinpointed the issue but that does not fix it since I really need the larger resolution?

@Son of Hobbes I set my resolution to 125% and it works ok but I will get eye strain at this smaller size so I guess it is a chrome problem?

Is it possible to roll back a version of Chrome? Has it always done it zoomed in like that? Aside from using a different browser (which sucks, I know,) that would be maybe something to try. Just not sure how to advise when it's so specific to be honest friend.

I reported the problem to Chrome, Google. This just happened with the latest Windows updates. So windows changed something that is not compatible with Chrome. This is not an AFN problem. I am sorry I sent you down that rabbit hole.

I wouldn't be so sorry, for without you saying something nobody would have been able to try things out and see if it was a forum, chrome or Winblows issue.

But if you have to magnify things in chrome to see pages, could you try lowering the screen resolution on windows, or look in at the "accessibility" options which may make things better for you to see things without compromising the layout and performance of the site?

Has to be worth a try anyway.

That is where I make the changes.

Oh no, no worries at all. I've made a ton of changes to some things lately so it was quite valid to ask about. We've got our dev server solution just about figured out too so that will give us some increased ability to test things out (and to break them.) We had a Chrome update a year or two ago that made the sidebar add-on not work correctly (and then it corrected itself in a later update.)

Interesting, because as a result of this I've realised my Firefox was scaled to 110%. I don't remember doing that myself but my keyboard gets regularly stepped on by a four legged friend so he could have done it...

I've had sticky laggy scrolling for a few days now. Tried multiple browsers on the PC for a fix to no avail. Is anyone else having this problem? Sorry if this has already been addressed elsewhere.
