New Grower Skatters perpetual DWC/Coco Grow Show

Sorry to hear the bad luck. Hope things improve for ya!

All else is looking well. The surviving critical jack has a TON of new roots that just started poking through the net cup. Hoping once they expand abit she wil start to really grow. She is already budding pretty significantly, which seemed a bit early to me but exciting neverthe less.

The white widow is looking like she may turn out to be a monster. Just over 3 weeks and she is massive compared to the CJ which is a week ahead of her. Prolific branching, and her fan leaves are already as big as my hand.

Can't wait to see some pic! I def wanna try growing white widow myself in the future.

Update

Here are some pics of the current status of my 29 Day old Critical Jack, and 23 Day old white widow.

The white widow has gotten off to a much better start. I learned from my mistakes on my first planting which was a week before, and did a better job of getting the roots to develop. It definitely has shown in the growth rate of the WW sofar.

Looking awesome! Don't worry about the cj that suffered... all a good learning experience.

Yeah shes not messing around, she has a bright future future ahead of her :D

Not sweating it. I learned alot from the mistakes i made on her. Many lessons learned for a mere $10 bean. She gets a partial assist on the success of the white widow sofar lol

I am sincerely considering considering trying to transplant my net cups into coco. These temps are killing me, DWC in summer is trouble... One step forward twonsteps back with this damn root rot. I really want to try and get this WW out of the bucket before she gets hit.

I posted a thread in coco forums because i cant find any information online about attempting this

Have you tried frozen water bottles in your buckets? Never tried it myself but heard some people use it as a cheap solution to lowering water temps. Otherwise I would think you could transplant. Maybe cut the net basket and make a tiered transplant. Never tried myself so just brainstorming lol.
