Live Stoner Chat Smoking weed you grew for the first time

I didn't see a topic on this and I was curious what peoples responses would be. I'm currently in my first grow and I'm curious to what it feels like to smoke your own weed for the first time. I'm quite anxious to smoke my own grow just knowing that I grew it from seed. Besides that it will probably be way better than the stuff I normally get I think the satisfaction along with it will make me enjoy it even more. Any one else remember the first time they smoked their own grow?

Seriously though, for me, it is the satisfaction of having exactly what I want when I want it and not have to mess with finding, buying etc. etc.

It was not that long ago for me , and i must echo the commit above....i also enjoy knowing what i'm smoking believe me when i tell you i have seen it all from people spaying there bud with perfume to roach killer it give me a piece of mind..:smokebuds: hit that ....i grow it!!!!

Yea my former pot dealer and I now just share herb and shoot pool. Its so great to smoke your own.

It is like a combination of freedom, mixed with that feeling of satisfaction from seeing a project through to the end. Then that is shortly followed by a sense of nostalgia about the entire adventure. But it's bitter sweet when you finally take an axe to the ladies. And that first time you open the doors and see your cold, empty tent there's a hollow feeling. It's strange how attached we can feel to our plants! haha

I smoked my own homegrown first time back in the 70's but it wasn't until I read and learned the tutorial on curing here that I felt like I had become a grower ... can't beat organically grown weed properly cured ... sometimes I look at my bud through a magnifying glass when it's ground up in a bowl and I'm amazed how beautiful it is ... almost too pretty to set fire to ...

My 1st grow(well proper one!)...Well I was about as proud as I could be(unfortunately, my parents were not as impressed as me!) The whole house stunk(I`d picked superskunk, cos I was young and slightly ignorant of how much `personality` this particular strain had ), the last 2 weeks were quite intense(and I reckon she could have gone another 2-3weeks, looking back on it!). Anyhoo, it was put t`me that the `Whiff`my girl had created(which I had considered t`be `rather lovely` at the time : ), was not appreciated by the rest of the household! I enjoyed the small amount of dense bright green nugs I managed to grow(I used a mercury grow bulb lol).I shared it with a good pal...He really rated it...I was a bit underwhelmed. But it taught me early on(this was nearly 25 years ago btw), that knowledge is :key: I had quick dried it, no cure etc I started autos after lurking and learning here spring of 2011(I`ve only grown with sunlight, due t`my situation. I have enjoyed everything(with one exception!) that I have grown since(drying and curing is very important for me)! I can only speak for m`self, but, I care for m`girls and give em as much love as I can...and they usually repay me! :smokebuds:

My first grow was just bag seed, that was deliberate, it was a learning experience.
But my second grow was AKR, and I was one happy camper when I had all that
good pot. It's a great moment, enjoy it.

Just like eating veggies from the garden I get a sense of accomplishment not to mention the knowledge that your grow is not contaminated with anything you don't want to put in your body. Can't wait for spring to do it all over!
