New Grower So cold ice on intake

Not sure what to do. its cold. Ice is all over my fan too.

Have air coming down a pipe, it cools a 1000w hps then dumps outside the tent.
I flipped the fan around so now its pushing air out rather then air in.

So it is pull air along with he heat from a 1000w hps and it's frozen? Dam bro! I don't even no how that is happening? What the temps in your grow room? Lol

I still don't understand. Could you post some pics? Or at least tell us what
you mean by out and in. My tent takes air from the room, runs it through the tent,
and then back out into the room.

I talked to a buddy of mine in Colorado and he said it was 25 below this morning. Brutal cold out there.

Hank, How are you now getting fresh into your tent now, for proper air exchange?Are you just relying on a passive air intake now? I'm guessing that you have a 6" fan, and probably going full bore to pull all of that heat out of your tent, along with all of the 'stale' air.
What I did was to put an inline duct fan for my air intake at the bottom of mine.

It is very cold here in the sticks as well. You will get it sorted out.

I pull air from outside in. It was -26 the other morning and -6 for the high. That is -31C. I started to ice up so bad I flipped it around. Now its pulling air from inside. Its a sealed hood so no air makes it in or out of the tent.
I run CO2. I have a fan that comes on every 75 mins for 15 min to scrub and remove the air. This way I dont lose lots of co2.

When I was dragging air in from outside it kept my temps around 68-78 all the time. The ice build up and the fact that the air was dropping temps in my grow area caused issue. Now temps are 84f.

I think even running in the low 80's is fine with co2.

Hank, I just looked at your grow journal, and I am certainly not one to be giving you advice my friend. You have obviously been growing much longer than I have.
Man those girls look very nice indeed. The PE is on my short list of 'to grow' strains.

By, the way I live in the other completely legalized state (your location does CO). We passed our law before you guys, but Washington won't be implementing for several months yet. The state now has a law proposal before out state legislator, to decrease us legal MMJ patients from 15 plants in any stage, down to 3 in flower and 3 in veg. I will just have to grow much larger plants indoors, and outdoors.
