Hello, I have read so much my brain is spinning lol I have 2-11 day old plants, my confusion comes with cool white, full spectrum, red light, blue light, fluorescent light, how much light, ?
I have 2 4 ft 40 watt grow lights, 2 40 watt daylight deluxe, and 4 27 watt cfl's and I also have 2ott lights, I think 18 watt and 7 watt, can I use all of these together? Which are red? Which are blue? I am able to fit more cfl's if needed, I'm a granny learning to grow, I'm learning lots from everyone here, thanks for the wisdom.

Grado Labs here, AFN's unofficial electromagnetic advocate.

Your flourescent lights should have kelvin ratings, predictably between 7000 and 2000 K, or Kelvins. That's the color temperature.

The higher the temp, the more blue biased the light will be, thus the more vegetative growth oriented it will be. Lower color temps coorespond to efficient flowering light, aka red biased light.

Well, thanks so much, you have really made it clear finally
