Hello.

My next grow will be powered by the BioTabs starter pack (+ PK Booster Compost Tea) in Autopots.

Now, something came to mind before starting. A lot of people on the forum have had great success and recommend using coco with Autopots. However, I wondered if soil is maybe a better medium for the bacteria and fungi contained in the BioTabs line?
I seem to recall reading somewhere here (not completely sure) that you guys at BioTabs have experienced better results with soil rather than coco.

So, @Biotabs F69 , what do you say, soil or coco  ?

I'd like to know which is prefered too @Biotabs F69 .
Personally I like coco and so that is what I am using with my Biotabs Starter kit + Boom Boom spray + PK Booster Compost Tea.
This is my first time using the Autopot system but i have been loving coco for a while now, always get good results in coco.
Canna Pro Coco & GS2 Growstones 50/50 mix, with airdomes and 2/3 height GS2 Growstones around the airdomes.
I'm looking forward to this grow and who knows I may become a biotabs convert!
3 x Double Grape from Mephisto genetics.

Are you doing a journal? I'm running Autopots with Biotabs in my grow now and it's mostly easy sailing. It seems that the end product will be of great quality, but we'll see :shooty:.
Would really like to see Double Grape in that setup, been drooling over that strain for a week now .

Hi ryker
First off great AV, Ricky is awesome!
Yes i will be doing a Journal but i have been busy and have let it slide, need to get it sorted.
The girls are coming up to 4 weeks old and are all settled into their Autopots!
I turn the tank on it a week's time, so it is just hand watering for the first week with Orgatrex + cal/mag & hesi supervit.
I am also foliar feeding with Boom Boom Spray, cal/mag & hesi Supervit & Overgrow by Optic foliar.
I alternate my sprays between Overgrow & Boom Boom spray.

Haha, thanks man, Ricky is by far my favorite grower around :smoking:. Love that show, really do, Sunnyvale is family :bighug:.

Anyhow, as I said, would love to see the journal. You can stop by mine if you want to see a similar setup (except that I almost didn't do any watering besides Autopots), but it seems to me that you already did maybe, who knows :baked:.

Before I forget, good luck with the grow, you're gonna really like Biotabs I think :bump:.

Just got to your journal and there are quite a number of pages to get through!
First thing i notice is "Silicium flash" I didn't even know it existed and it is not on the biotabs website

So I googled "silicium flash" and got to a website called santyerbasi.com and found it but only in a big pack for €29.90 /£27.65!
Whilst i was there I also found another new Biotabs product "Bio PK 5-8

BioTabs BIO PK 5-8,

BioTabs presents BIO PK 5-8, a certified organic fertilizer, formulated to get an increased flower production, more flavours, in a natural and medical way. BIO PK Biotabs increases yields, and flower's density, increasing performance in every crop. If you, as a grower and toker, value the use of organic fertilizers, BIO PK is a phosphorus and potassium source, totally organic, that will help you increase your yields, enhancing flavours and taste of your flowers.

BioTabs Silicium Flash

BioTabs Silicium Flash is an organic fertilizer, compound by quick uptaking silicium. Silicium Flash is rich in nutrients and oligo-elements, containing calcium and magnesium. One of the best benefits of Silicium Flash in growth is plants much healthier, that better take advantage of the source given (nutrients), translating it in a more vigorous growth, and an explosive and large flower production. The use of BioTabs Silicium Flash allows growers to substitute the use of Orgatrex (liquid) by a powdery product water soluble.

I just spent £200 on grow room supplies yesterday and I don't have deep enough pockets to get these two until next month!

I just had a quick flip through your journal but all the pics are just (IMG) and I can't see the pics.
Judging by the comments it seems other members can/could see your pics.
I know the site is up dating their servers and this kind of thing has happened before, so I'll see if this may be the issue.

Yeah mate, those are new products from Biotabs for a couple of months now and they still don't have them on their site, really don't know why .

I'm using both of them in this grow, especially happy with the Silicium Flash with added calcium and magnesium :clapper:.

Sorry to hear about the images, didn't get any other complaints, are you sure it's AFN related? Hope you fix that, it's a nice grow if I might say so :smoking::goodluck:.

Bio Tabs is trying to figure out mow much to use with size and so forth. ill have it dialed in by mid winter with Photos and autos .so thatll help them get it out a lil faster. but IMHO of course I think a mix of a nice medium flower soil with Higher N content is ideal with the tabs. a few teas and some mammoth?! BOOB BOOM LOL i got the pellets AND the flash granules or powder

How would you use the Mammoth P with the Biotabs Line?

well you just start using it at the starter dose level when stretching is just about done and the first pistils are appearing. then every other watering is how I do it. but this time Im making a soil with a top coating for flower then use it a lil more heavier then the yeild should be a lot nicer. but use until a week n a half or so prior to chop and voila
