Cheers IG, amen to that! Coco is so often misused, and guess where they end up? Seems very few bother to research this medium, assuming it's just another type of soil, or the same treatment-wise as soilless peat based stuff... Some peep's get away with treating it like true soil, but it catches up sooner or later... Sick Bay is rife with coco patients, almost all because this very reason...

Even though i have read it and understood it my first coco attempt went through its shares of ups and downs. Transitioning from peat based inlet it dry out more than the plants would have liked . In the end after a 2 and a half month veg and a very late multi topping i ended up with 3 ozs of early queen . My largest to date hahaha . Never veged plants that long.
Using masterblend nutrients no deficiencies mixed at a 2 2 1 ratio . Similar to jacks but a little less cash .
