Captain Howdy
A Lost Soul
Howdy folks, good to have you all along for the ride, it's about time to shift this up a gear.
As predicted the soil I'm reusing has next to nothing in it, and it especially has no calcium left in it whatsoever. I noted this when the leaves just started to fade to a limey green a few days ago, I' gave her a dose of cal/mag and everything's greened up again before it caused any problems.
I'm gonna add a few dried eggshells to the soil (which I should have done to begin with to be honest) and for the next couple of feeds I'll just have to make sure to give her a small dose of cal/mag and keep on top of it while the shells work their magic.
She is desperately trying to grow vertically but I'm not having any of it, the light is pretty much sat right on top of her. Until I get these side branches to raise up a little bit she's not going anywhere. Trying to control it before it gets out of hand, using CFL's I have to keep everything I wanna flower at pretty much an equal height else I'm left with staggered harvests which are just a pain in the ass.
She's just had a feed of 2ml BioGrow, 1ml TopMax, 1ml Rhizotonic, and 1ml Cal/Mag.
I'll be bumping up the Grow on the next feed and removing the Rhizo.
There are a couple of blemishes on the leaves, not too sure how they got there, she could possibly have licked the light at some point, or there may be hot patches in the soil affecting the roots. I'll get it straightened out.
Other than that I'd say she looks good. More of a Sativa with a dash of Indica atm, and she smells exactly the same as my Cream Caramel, almost a sweet, nutty kinda thing going on. Awesome
Anyways folks, here she is on day 17

Take care
