Indoor Sour spyder complete grow (mdanzig)

wow. real interesting. thats way more then i use on my photos, but if i was perfect i would just got buy this site and make every one do as i say. lol
you guys are driving my auto test and this is just one more idea that i am all about trying that wont change any of my big 4 that i wont be so quick to change.....yet any way.

but...... thinkdifferent............it you have some solid logic or theories or sciences that will help me decide this to be a rock solid change like the move to the smart pots then i would love to hear it. whenever you have time. friend

s...m.........CDM

and for the record i am in the same location as your avatar says you are friend. small world

That's cool man. Yeah i am from the good ol state of Maine. I guess i have no science behind the smart pots it is more from my experience and trial and error. I had 2 TD out of 21 in smart pots and the 2 in them grew healthier and faster and in the end had the largest yield. Once i saw the results i figured i would use smart pots on my next grow of photos. I still used a couple plastic pots because i had already burnt a hole in my pocket from buying as many smart pots as i did and once again the smart pot plants look to be a week ahead of the rest. I think the best part is i don't worry about the soil drying out before another feed because there is plenty of oxygen in the root zone so the soil being wet isn't as much of an issue and with 9 different strains some drink faster then others and i like to keep it simple and feed them all at the same time. a420er uses them as tyou know and he may have some better input. Smart pots were originally made for trees and would be transplanted straight into the ground with the trees root ball and the roots would then grow through the pot and into the ground around it. same as the air pots...

Nahh man, no science here, just results. I can look at my roots and tell they are much healthier.

@TD, you are correct, they are smaller. They do the same thing with smart pots as they do with CFL bulbs. They call them "equivalent to". So, when you buy a 5 what they are saying is it is a 5 gallon equivalent to standard pots. I thought the same thing and emailed them, that was their response, that a 5 gallon smart pot will hold the same amount of roots as a 5 gallon standard pot. That was when I started thinking I am going up in size. Will probably make the jump to 10 for my photos and stay with 5 or 7 for my autos. Maybe the 10 for the large genetic autos like DP has. I have yet to see any autos that would veg as big a their gear in the same time frame.

yeah bro that's what i figured with the pot sizing after i tried the 30 gallon thing. also your right on That's what i was saying about using the 10's on super autos and autos like TD, MAZAR, and BAM The TD definitely has some massive roots that would have loved more room...

it wasnt science on smart pots i am looking for. i am sold so to saay and i will be using them just wait and see. fer sure guys, i was just looking for some logic or theories to persuade me into 10 gallons from the door. as is i may end up at tens but untill i find and good reason to jump up there right now i will just be using 5s like you guys started at. you feeling me. i want to do it spot on but dollars make sense in the beginning. unless ofcourse you persuade me, or my wife that iss honestly guys.

maybe i will start with just my 9 autos in 10s or better yet i will do my 9 ggg afgan bastards i got in week 3 as we speak. thats the ticket. i am going to use 5s on the auto show and 10s on my ggg them glorious bastards show. then i will have a solid idea of where you guys are coming frow without breaking the bank. thanks guys. u are two priceless dude thus far. thanks for the eyeopener

it would be kinda nice to know just what they hold as i want to get my mix cooking now but i dont have them. always something. guess i just use the pseudo number and have a bit extra. lest you have info for me

At 75 pots I wont mention airpots, $$$$$ lol, but for arguement and your enjoyment, you mentioned in another thread it takes 5 grows to begin to reach perfection...... Meet my better half, stop by say hi I told her about you.

She has grown 5 plants 2 were bom noms. Some chicks are just lucky haha. She has out grown me and a breeder who gave her seeds. She uses fake airpots which I have no experience in.

:peace:

If you can sew smartpots can be made from landscaping fabrics, forget the exact name.:bong:
