I came to find 4 of girls were infested with mites. I removed them from tent promptly vacuumed the tent. I looked through the inventory of grow supplies to find nothing to combat the little bastards. I don't want to put them outside but I'm not putting them back in the tent.
I wasn't sure what to do. All 4 girls are photo period plants and as I'm having mold issues outside I don't want to put them out, I'm not ready to set up another tent either.
I don't know if it what I did is going to work or not but I wanted to share this just in case it does.
While vacuuming the tent I had an idea... Vacuum the plants. I have a small shop vac and you guessed it I vacuumed every top,and branch the top of pot the entire stalk.
All the plants are quarantined I'll vacuum them again tonite after another inspection. Anybody think this will work??

After one round with shop vac couldn't find one bug egg or web anywhere

That is a good first step to take @stepside :pass:
Just be careful not to redistribute the mites due to the vacuum blowing them out the other end:toke:
I personally use Azamax as a preventive maintenance measure.
This is the only spay I use on my ladies.
Once you have webs like you do , that means infestation.
Get thermonuclear on them:thumbsup:

Good luck :pass:

I know all clones from here on out go in a separate tent. I hate bugs... I'm gonna take tomorrow off and fix the problem before it gets worse. And I was thinking I take too many pics... If I wasn't taking pics every night I would have missed those little fucs

Ahh clones.... the gift that keeps on giving:biggrin:
If you do plan on taking clones in the future, I'd definitely set up a quarantine area to keep them for approx a week+ while they go through a decontamination process.
I went through this once.. once.
I grow strictly from seed now.

if you have outside garden's you tend, they will come in on your cloth's , so take care of gardens outside, after you do the inside:biggrin: and clean up the whole grow room. vacuuming was a very good idea, but more will be needed. if you have web's it's a large infestation:nono:attack!!!!!:shooty:

I should have known better. The trainwrecks looked iffy when I got them kinda like they had already been treated with some kind of nuke spray. It took a long time for them to hatch though. I think I'm gonna be a seed only guy from here on out. Unless I'm cutting my own
