I went to Jamaica for a week and came back to find Spider web looking stuff in my basket and around. So i removed all the pebbles i could I washed it away, should that work? any Idea what happened?

Pics please.
It sounds like spider mites, bagworm, or mold.

Opps
just noticed on the net pot.
We need pics

Most likely it is a mold rather than a web.
Webs will be sticky and stick to itself when you try to remove it.
Mold will smear or powder when you try to remove it.

I would rinse it well with a sprayer and perhaps a light Hydrogen peroxide dip , but if the plant does not appear to be suffering, do not go overboard.

Are your roots brown too? Looking at pic on my phone and I have bad eyes :) are ya top feeding as well? I got some salt build up on my pots from time to time. It didnt make the webb pattern though. Almost looks the same as some molds that grow on rotten trees n stuff out in the woods out here.

That does look like a mold, or a mildew. I'm with Gray Bear, I'd consider a very light concentration of Hydrogen peroxide, either misted on and wiped, or just wipe it down real good. What is your relative humidity in the grow space?

As gery bear said but would also add some "Hygrozyme" just to clear up any decomposed/rotted root matter.

Are you water temp is the correct range 65F is an ideal temp, the warmer you water the less oxygen it holds and is an ideal enviroment for pythium.

There are a fair few different pythium prevention solution out there, check see what you hydrostore has.

Mold loves eviroments low in oxygen, so it is a good idea to keep temp and oxygen level at correct levels.

Tank temperature & % of Oxygen in the solution (ppm)

10ºc (50ºf) 13 ppm

20ºc (68ºf) 9-10 ppm

30º (86ºf) 7 ppm

As you can see higher temps equals less part per million of oxygen held in you water
Make sure you have plenty of oxygen in you water and keep temp in the correct zone.
There are chillers on the market to chill your water and rez heater if it is too low.

Would that be something like Hydrozme? and I wiped it away once and washed the pebbles and changed the water, and it still came back. I havea cheap little meter in my tent my hymidit is about 50 and and temp about 75-77.

I dont have pen to measure the ppm right now and I think thats a mistake. I dont know the water temp and do I needa water chiller? Im messing up :slaps:
