Spiderweb looking mold?

I have this 'mold' on the surface of my soil (OF,molasses, dolomite lime). Plant is 24 days old from sprout and looking great! I think this is good and showing good activity in the soil. I have fed once 1/4 strength nutes and cal mag. I water when pot (smart pot) is light and top 1-2 inches is dry. Could someone please chime in and let me know for sure that this is good and I have nothing to worry about? I don't want to add h2o2 and kill my beneficials.

It doesn't look like mold but it could be mychorizae spores starting and ffof contains myco spores but it really shouldn't be on the surface.It should stop once the soil drys out.

It happened right after a good watering to runoff. It's like tiny spiderwebs. The plant is extremely healthy. Thanks namvet for your prompt reply and your service to our country! USMC here. 0311 !

Cat'-- it's fungal hyphae alright, but I can't tell if it's the bad or good kind! How much molasses and how often did you put in there? The sugars can really ramp up the soil herd, but not all herd is friendly, so mind the dosage and frequency,.. you don't want to invite botrytis, mildew etc. to this party! ... 1 tsp/qt is good, a couple times a week,... it also has some Ca, Mg, k and a little Fe too,...

Waira, I added the molasses, lime, and ph,d and distilled water. Let sit (outdoors) for two weeks. Added the same and let another two weeks then added the germed seed. The soil was covered but I would open the container occaisionally and stir and let it breathe a bit. Should I try to get rid of this stuff or let it ride for now and see what happens. Thank you for the response. The girl looks healthy to me, maybe just a touch of 'light green' leaves at the very bottom.

...hmmm, what do you mean by open the container? Is the plant enclosed in a tub or something? Air movement is very important, for good gas exchange, especially access to all the CO2 she can get! that's the beginning of the supply source for making fuel-- carbon fixation for sugars!

Waira, I 'cooked' the soil for a month before I added my bean. Sorry for the misleading words. I was trying to get the soil activity ramped up and active. Seems like it's working good, growing like a charm! Thanks for keeping an eye on us!
