New Grower Square Air-Pots?

Feck thats a big tent , nice one you uk or across the pond Z also would recommend 20 / 4 lighting mate i did'nt like the 24 / 0

ive got the essentials trident its an all in one meter also bluelab i think its called is used a lot just jump on to the web and you'll get all your answers about those there z :peace:

Cheers mate :D

I read the pros and cons with air-pots for autoflower on some site and they stated a claim that air-pots can prune the roots during critical growing stage of a autoflower and therefore make the plant smaller rather than larger. Any thoughts?

it could be true to a degree at the later stages of development when roots would be very well established and not searching but constantly required to replace lost roots searching to establish
but the growth is so increased at earlier stages it accounts in a much higher growth of root structure in turn enlarging the plant size so yield already compared to a standard pot w/ little air flow will be much larger to compare to so while this could be true it would be overlooked

the main thing is what they bring to the table for their size and amount of space required for the greater return while still giving faster drying times for soil and promoting faster exchange rates

yeah i would go with the rhino pro carbon filter and a matching rvk extractor fan, the bluelab ph pens are one of the best you can buy and i think a few members here use a hanna ph meter but i forget what model exactly, the ec meters are a good addition but i wouldn't say they were a definate buy unless you are doing dwc or something along those lines

Yep in the UK as well, Ireland.

I did a small amateur grow first with CFL's and 4 autos with 24/0 lighting and they turned out very good, now I wanna grow with better equipment to see autos full potential. There is a lot of discussion about lighting schedule for autos, I think it's all about the growers preference. Why didn't you like 24/0? It is also a bit harder to control temps and humidity with 20/4.

More hours of light = more growth

my last grow i went 18/6 with my light and on my current grow im doing 20/4, i dont know what it was but i thought my plants looked better when i went with 18/6, the reason for giving them no light is to give them a rest, and when you think of it no plant in the world gets 24 hrs of light

There is info floating about, about the arctic circle and Ruderalis gets 24/0 grows and flowers fine.

Rhino Pro Filter 150/600 - Fits all 150mm fans + 150mm (6") RVK150 A1 Extractor Fan - 420m3/hour. Good combo for the titan 2 box?

Also why do people leave there autos in darkness for 48 hours before chopping?

yeah that would do fine or you could maybe get away with using the 4" fan and filter and save a few :2cents:. im sure the 48hrs darkness is to bring out more trichomes but not 100% on that one myself

Z theres a chart somewhere that calculates the minimum fan you will need for your size of tent , most fan sellers will have this better check before you buy a fan buddie also mind once you put a CF onto it , this will pull down its efficency a little :peace:

i was just going with the numerous grows that are on here and i would say 99% go with either 18/6 or 20/4, the only time i would use 24/0 is when they are young and in the seedling stage
