Harvest & Curing Staggered Bud Harvesting

I have noticed new flowers forming 10 days after the first set- day 25, at day 35 flowers are still emerging and may possibly continue as growth continues could you harvest buds at different times or do you have to chop the plant whole

you can def do a staggered chop alot of people do it to let the lower buds ripen. its a great tech and can help add a bit more weight. if the newer buds are alot lower it might be a good idea to just take them now to let more energy focus on the upper colas. How long you think there supposed to go?

Thanks, they have only just started, seed bank says 75 days from germ but i would guess at 80 + days, i am only in day 35 !! see my sig

Hey red - a lot of folks do staggered chops. I advise them if you're looking for the best quality bud and intend to smoke it all. If you chop the entire plant the little unformed buds go to edibles, hash, green dragon. Whatever kind of use you can think of, but they're not worth smoking unless you're hard up. On my last harvest for one plant I did the top two layers of satellites + the main cola and then propped the plant up so the other buds would be closer to the light. I waited two weeks and did the rest of the bud. It's all about how much room you have my friend.

As everyone else has already said you can take the buds in sections most people take the top Kola first then the rest im planning on doing it with my Pineapple in a about 2 weeks Si

It's kinda silly to do anything BUT a staggered harvest unless you're after hash/concentrates/edibles...no question that the plant isn't "ripe" all over at the same time...:thumbs:
