Y'all have to give it a chance. J.J. Abrams is the man. He has done some great works. I have confidence in him and his production team. He has a great director staff working with him as well. It'll at least be an epic scale movie series. Plus....this is where the star wars timeline gets crazier than before wait till you see what happens next....

I'm not sure I could take it if the Disney Star Wars turns out like the abominations Lucas tried to pass off as Episodes 1,2 and 3, I am hoping for some redemption for the greatest movie franchise in history, I love the originals sooooo much! To be honest I enjoyed the animated movie and series The Clone Wars much more than the last 3 movies. I will go see the Force Awakens with an curious mix of hope and trepidation.

I wouldn't go so far as to say episodes 1,2 and 3 were abominations, it just that the timeline got fu**ed up! Are you believing the fact that it took 20+ years to build the original Death Star at the end of episode 3 before episode 4?

As to The Force Awakens, if from what I've seen from the trailers Tatooine is littered with Star Destroyers in various states of decay, why haven't the Jawa's been busy scrapping them?

Just my 2c's worth and I can't wait for it to be released!

That planet you see is planet Jekka. It's the same planet that in the game series force unleashed. You use your force power as the Jedi assassin to pull the star destroyer out of the sky. It's the filler info in between the movies. It's the final battle in the game. Jekka will be the first major engagement against "The new Order" under the last remaining Sith. He attempts to do the same thing as Darth sidious. He will try to turn one of Jedi in this movie coming up to gain a Sith apprentice. Same as sidious did to anikan Skywalker. Should be amazing scenes. All the new death troopers got a re-surfacing touch to their armor. With jet mods!

If anyone has read or watched the "Entire" star wars timeline history. You'll have a few Easter eggs for when this movie releases. Because some very important info is in the history about what happens to the remaining Sith that take up hiding in the outer belt of the galaxy. I'm just hoping like you guys said. They don't ruin the timeline. That's the only complaint I've had with the originals. They could've done better to chosen better scenes to film as part of the timeline. And they could even go back in time and make movies based off the Mandelorean wars between ancient Sith and Jedi warriors. That would be original to the big screen.
