Lighting Starting autos indoors

Running in 5 gal pots is fine. Your going to get some shock transplanting and I would think that no way in 3 weeks from seed under cfl or t5 are the roots going to rap around the bucket.

Its going to be a huge pain in the ass removing the plants from the pots without ripping roots. I would go for 2 gal. 5 gal and 20 plants is going to be around 13 bags of soil (i think at 1.5 cub feet a bag). The cost is going to be massive on that.

Oldster:
Okay, Im looking into trying to get 2 t5 HO's off craigslist. I think that could have me covered with a few cfls for side lighting

Hank:
Thanks for the response hank, are you suggesting that I start them in small containers and transplant them? Im trying to avoid transplanting because I can't lose any time to shock. Also, 13 bags of soil would be costly but I think it may be worth it for the payout in yield.
